It's been so long since I've posted in my journal
but I so appreciate those of you who have left such positive comments.
Sojo, I know you must be extremely busy completing the semester now--know that you are in my thoughts! I "fondly" remember those days!
Nickie, I miss reading your journal and wonder how you are doing. I hope you and baby are doing well!
Charity and Katesmom, I can hardly wait for the day we celebrate your "goal" success--hang in there, you are doing well! It seems like my weight loss journey went by so fast and your efforts help me remember mine. We truly inspire each other!
Lizabette, I love your new medallion! Can you believe that in 10 more months I will have one too? Then you and the other 1-yr maintainers will have to devise a new one--perhaps in a different color? Then it will be even more distinguishable!
Donna, I'd really like to meet you. Perhaps over this holiday season we can share a L & G together?
I have stepped up my trips to Chicago to visit my Mom who is now in the hospital after sustaining a fall. The outcome does not look good at this point but I want to remain hopeful even though reality informs me otherwise.
I was there for Thanksgiving week and I'll be making another trip before Christmas. I ask your prayerful support. <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/17/17_1_10.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D17%252F17_1_10/image.gif">
On the MF front life is a LOT more positive. I am currently
under 130#, a greater loss than I had hoped for when I began the program. The discipline I acquired while on the program keeps me steady--always asking myself, "do I REALLY want that?" or "WHY am I craving this
now?" While I experimented on the program as I got closer to goal (much to the chagrin of some of my fellow MFers and something I don't recommend for those with unresolved/unresolvable "trigger" issues), I learned a lot about myself and my eating habits. Now I only "deprive" myself if there is no just cause to indulge. And when I do I compensate in other ways. I continue to eat 2-3 MF meals a day--It takes the guesswork out of meal planning and I know the food is nutritionally sound. I do need to exercise more though
I went to a Christmas party of my church women's group last night and wore my "skinny" jeans--size 4! Someone told me I look
absolutely hot!
Who would've thought this a year ago?
Well, I wanted to touch base just in case family situations escalated any time soon. While I don't have the time to post in everyone's journal, know that I am prayerfully with you in your weightloss journey, personal struggles and successes and wish you all well!
Have a blessed, safe and joyous holiday season! <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_7_5.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D8%252F8_7_5/image.gif"> <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_15_13.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_15_13/image.gif">
