I'm thinking Branson might actually be a really good place as a matter of fact. There is TONS to do and I think I can find package deals. What I'd like to check on also, and if somebody knows please chime in, is whether Independence Air flies there. That airline is soooooooooo cheap and if we can get that airline it will make this trip cheaper for alot of people. I do know that Independence air doesn't stop in Texas yet dangit but they fly from the east coast and the west coast. That's just one thing we need to look in to. Thanks for the Branson idea.......I definitely think it's a contender.

Just got off line with Independence Airlines and am sorry to say they do not go to Branson,Missouri.. they go to Knoxville,Tn and Louisville, Ky but thats still a good piece away for most people.. SORRY they have really good rates..Martha

I noticed you posted that Independence airline goes to Louisville, KY-- that is where I live! I would be more then happy to play hostess to everyone.
