My homemade MF popscicles make my world a better place.

The basic recipe:

6 oz. water
1 package shake mix
1 packet sweetner (trust me...you need the packet of sweetner!)

SHAKE WELL. Pour into popscicle mold, and freeze. I get 2 large popscicles from every MF package. They are YUMMY and I feel like I'm EATING 8)

Some of my favorite combinations....

Dutch Chocolate with 1/8 tsp. peppermint extract

DC with 1/4 tsp of orange extract OR almond extract

Vanilla made in 6 oz. COFFEE instead of the water

Vanilla with 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Strawberry in 6 oz. of LEMONADE instead of water

You get the picture! Be creative...and ENJOY 8) Believe me, it's had to feel deprived when you're sipping a mug of coffee and eating a chocolate mint popscicle

love and hugs,

Lois

Since I have a "thing" for banana pops, I'm going to try this with a french vanilla shake and Da Vinci sugar free banana syrup! Yum!

Thanks for the how-to, Lois!

This sounds like a great idea! Gotta go get a popsicle mold!

Along the same vein (a more lazy vein, really...), I've been mixing up the chocolate pudding and then freezing it in a custard dish for about 45 minutes. It doesn't freeze solid, but it ends up ice-creamy enough that it takes me a while to eat and feels like a real cheat! (I'm easily fooled, what can I say?)

Inspired by the posts on this thread, I mixed a Dutch Chocolate shake with about four ounces of water tonight, then stuck it in the freezer, sitting right on top of the ice in the ice bin. (I didn't use any Splenda, so I guess everyone's tastes are different.) I think I left it there about an hour -- not sure because things are crazy in this household of mine (but good crazy). Anyway, I just finished eating, with a spoon, something that tasted very much like fudgsicles! This is definitely going to be a regular thing around here from now on. Thanks for the idea!

Just thought I'd bump up this refreshing summer treat.

No reason to feel deprived when the ice cream man comes down your street....
