Medifast and more!

Postby Ct. Yankee » April 12th, 2006, 8:57 am

I use the smaller Medifast shaker for practically everything, except for the hot soups and oatmeal.

I was rinsing out the shaker one day, and thought, why not recycle this strawberry rinse water? Believe me, I am not one of 'those' who recycles everything, either! Anyway, I went outside to the lanai, and added the water to a plant, and with each shake after that, I watered the rest of the plants. Water I only have to pay for, once!

Well, let me tell ya, the plants are growing like leaps and bounds!!! Gotta be the vitamins!! Truly, Medifast and more!!

Ooh! I'm going to have to try that with my container garden!
I'm doing cucumbers & plan on calling Grandma K for her pickle recipe! woohoo!
(PS, I'm a tad disappointed I won't be able to enjoy my Sugar Snap Pea crop this year!)

Sugar snap peas are really the best, I miss them, too. I hope that your plants are just as successful from the Medifast boost, Shana!!!

There will probably be some that will call me crazy, for this discovery, but here I am, the grandmother of Invention!!!! :D

Joan..now who would have thought of a good use for the rinse water?! That is genius. You must have one of those brains that just keeps going...even when you're RINSING A DISH!!!!

If I can feed joint health shakes to my dog, I can certainly recycle shake water for my poor dying pygmy palm! I'm gonna try that the WHOLE time I'm home (2 days!)

Thanks!
