Hi CeeCee,
I like to do a lot of stir frys. I use the veggie spray in the wok and then season the meat and veggies with a sauce of fresh ginger, light soy sauce, and fresh garlic. It's yummy for a change. Jade

I eat a lot of fish. Somewhere in this forum I posted a recipe for Spicy Shrimp, which is yummy. Salmon teriyaki gets me through a lot, too. And when the grocery store puts crab on sale, it's on our table. In lieu of dipping it in butter, I spray a little "I can't believe it's not butter" on it.

For a veggie, try mashing cauliflower and spray it with the same spray. You can almost make yourself think you are having mashed potatos.

Edited to add: Here's the link to the shrimp recipe:

MamaD-

24karat has it right with the shrimp -- so yummy! She also has a nice ticker! ;0) Great minds you know.

Sometimes, I get roasted turkey breasts and pop the package (all two of them) in the oven for like an hour and poof, I measure out 7 ounces which is a TON and pack it up for the week. They also have pork roasts. It is nice to make something once a week and then not have to do anything other than decide about salad or veggies.

I have done taco salad with shredded lettuce and ground turkey and tomato -- so tasty...my parents now do this when I visit and they even don't miss all the fatty extras. I figure no allowed condiments cancel out the taco seasonings and don't have it a lot but it is packed with flavor.

Have also got meat delivered from Omaha Steaks which is a godsend. Portion control at its finest. Costco chicken breasts rock! Just pull out the dead animal of choice before I go to bed and it is perfectly defrosted and waiting for me in the fridge when I get home and fire up the George Foreman the next evening.

Have learned that if you take 1/2 your meat ounces and add an egg, tomato and cucumber you have a nice cobb-like salad. I am sort of a bland eater (onions are evil) so I don't know if any of this helps.

Being really organized makes life with MF easy. Prior planning and all that. Garlic salt is the BEST!!!!!!!!

Today we are having lunch today at RoundTable and I am armed with left over steak from my Mom's visit Sunday and my dressing so salad bar -- here I come!! Is it lunch time yet!! I think I need a shake! ;)

My favorite lately is steak or roasted tri-tip with roasted broccoli. Cut the broccoli into big spears, spray with some olive oil cooking spray, sprinkle on a bunch of chopped garlic, some crushed red pepper or chili powder, and some salt and pepper, toss it all together, and roast at 450 for about half an hour.

You guys that sounds sooo good - I eat a ton of Broccoli and love it. I also make a lot of taco type salads. I use shredded lettuce and some kind of grilled meat - usually pork and then add some Bernsteins dressing and some Tabasco sauce - which I love - actually had this for dinner tonight.

I also love galic salt and eat a lot of chicken - will be trying the shrimp though gosh that sounds great 24 !

Another thing I had been meaning to write. I am compulsive so of course I ate the same MF products for like 2 months straight. Lately I had a heart to heart with myself and decided if this is truely for forever which is my goal then I need to eat something other than chocolate RTG, apple and cinnamon oatmeal and fruit and nut bars - I went back and tried some things that I was not thrilled with in the beginning and thanks to TSFL tried some of the samples they sent. So now I am including the chocolate pudding and today I had an oatmeal raisin bar that brought tears to my eyes it was sooo much like carrot cake :D This was my free sample. So I also encourage you to rotate your MF - assuming you are not already - it has been a treat. Mytime

You guys are making me drool! It is only 8 o'clock in the morning! I have been doing the complete fast for 7 weeks now and reading all of your L&G choices, yum!!!! I do mix up my MF products Mytime! I have either Apple and Cinnamon Oatmeal or Vanilla Berry Oatmeal for breakfast, my latest addition for shakes has been either Dutch chocolate with a tsp of decaf instant coffee, or the French Vanilla with decaf coffee is REALLY good! I have those at work for my morning and lunch MF meals. At around 3 o'clock, I have a carmel nut bar (I LOVE those things!!!!) and chase it with about 32 oz of water. It REALLY fills you up! For dinner, I may have cappucino, or MF chicken and wild rice or chicken noodle soup, sometimes chili. I love the hot chocolate too! This week, I've been needing a 6th MF meal. I've just felt hungrier. I have 3 stalks of celery with either mustard or SF DaVinci Green Apple syrup on it.
Take care and God Bless,
Judy <><

Wow you big losers have some great suggestions... No wonder you are doing so well.

I am going to the grocery store today to buy broccoli...we have it when the NYC daughter is here...but not anymore~~ :( but the roasted sounds fabulous. :bravo: :bravo:

I like the pre-packing my meat idea and the taco salad idea. Do you put any taco seasoning on that??? or is there sugar in that?? gonna try that real soon!!!

thanks ya'll  ....keep 'em coming!!

I just tried the oatmeal raisin bar, too (they were out of my beloved cranberry bars) and I LOVE it. No discernable raisins (which I hate) and it tastes like a nice, moist gingerbread to me.

Now that the weather's cooler, I've tried a few new bars. Before, the only ones I really liked were the cranberry-almond, but I'm a huge new fan of the oatmeal-raisin, the chocolate mint and the lemon. I'll be ordering a ton while it's cold out and stockpiling for the summer.

I don't pre-pack my dinners, but I do tend to make enough for several days and slice it all up ahead of time, so every day I just weigh out my portion and add some veggies, and I'm good to go. I'm the queen of the tri-tip these days, with chicken thrown in a few times a week to mix things up. And I just picked up some frozen, individually wrapped tuna steaks at C---co that I'm dying to try. I'm single, so "individually wrapped" is music to my ears.

If I may add my two cents here: warming up your bars in the microwave are delicious! it's like eating a warm piece of chocolate cake, etc... !!!! I am all out of bars :x and I must place an order today
