If you don't get in all your meals, you will not get enough calories. If that happens, your body goes into starvation mode and clings desperately to every calorie it can get, and that equals slowed down (or stopped!) weightloss, not to mention possibly harming your body and metabolism.
Medifast is a very carefully balanced program, which is why we need to follow it just as prescribed. Good for you for looking for the answer, instead of just dropping a meal.
When I'm not hungry (especially in the evenings), I usually will have one of the hot drinks. It doesn't feel so much like eating, and is easier to get down.
