Mary Jane's Mousse Recipe

Postby lan » September 20th, 2005, 7:41 pm

Hi, Everyone,

Way back a long time ago, about 1990, I did Medifast. At that time, I went to the Doctor's office. The nurse also had been on Medifast and had kept the weight off for a few years. In the last few days, I came across a recipe she had given me. Wowza!

Here is Mary Jane's mousse recipe. I think it is great!

Take 1/2 cup of really hot water and put it into a blender. Add 1 package of sugar-free Jello, any flavor (she says that pineapple is great with orange Medifast). Blend well on medium speed. Mixture will become frothy, but continue blending. Do not turn blender off while adding next ingredients. Next, add 4 ice cubes; allow them to blend into the mixture. Add Medifast shake mix, allowing it to also blend into the mixture. Add an additional 4 ice cubes and continue mixing until thick. If mixture did not get thick enough, chill in the refrigerator for a few minutes.

Scoup mousse out, get a spoon, and enjoy!

Thank you, Lan. That does sound very good.

I'll bet it would be good with lemon sugar free Jell-O, too.
