My thoughts and prayers are with you Martha!!!

My FIL was born in Newton, MS, and still has many family and relatives living there, including his 82 year old mother who still lives in her own house. It is a small town located between Jackson and Meridian, and we have NOT been able to get through to any relatives due to the power being out. I am hoping that everyone is okay, and we are on pins and needles waiting to hear some news.

Everyone affected is in my prayers!

The waiting is hard, isn't it?

I got the following note from one of my dear clients whose Daddy and brother live in Biloxi, MS

I still haven't heard anything in regards to my dad and brother. My sister contacted the Red Cross and is waiting for them to get back with her in locating them and finding out if they are fine. The Air Force Base that my dad retired from was devastated. All of the connecting bridges are badly damaged to get around on. The hotel that I stayed at for my mothers funeral was under water yesterday when I was watching pictures taken during and after the Hurricane. I have other friends that I went to school with that I have kept in touch with over the years after I left and I can't find out if they are okay. This is so hard.

Imagine...over a million and a quarter people affected...and we all must wait.
