Okay, I am adding this photo as a first....I will add a stand up and smile photo later, and one every two weeks or 4 weeks as I go. I chose this photo from 3 years ago, as I think this shows it best, fat is miserable, I am way to fun and want to smile.

Lucy...no 'splainin' necessary.. the look says it all!!

Think we've all had pictures taken like that, including the classic. arms folded over the belly posture... like no one's gonna notice what lies beneath. Get ready to lose "the ledge". That was one of the surprises/benefits from losing the extra pounds, "Where do my arms go, now?"
Also, one of the earlier NSV's I received from my family was when my son told me that his wife had commented to him how much "happier" I seemed now that I had lost some weight. (Only about 50 pounds at that point....)

So be prepared to show those "Pearly whites". Looking forward to watching your progress.

Hi Lucy!

Thanks for posting a pic! It's nice to put a face to a name.

I understand why you wanted to post a pic not looking too happy. I have the classic arms crossed glaring pic of myself at 265 (my largest), and have printed NEVER AGAIN under it and carry it with me for those times I decide it's okay to go to Taco Bell or Coldstone, I get that picture out and realize it's not!
