My love of Jello

Postby AlexLHH » July 13th, 2006, 6:08 pm

Why can I only have 1 cup of Jello (10 calories) as my snack but a full pack of soy crisps? I find this deeply unfair. :-P

Where is the logic here?

After 4 weeks with no soy crisps, I developed a serious Jello habit, and then for my fifth week I ordered a box. Now it's like I just want soy crisps AND Jello. This whole 'snack' thing is a slippery slope...

Hi Alex,

I thought we were allowed 2 jello gelatin cups per day? I don't see why it can't be more either. I mean, 20 calories, come on . . .

yeah lately I've been going with one pickle/one jello cup... But um, a couple of those days those snacks were also accompanied by one pack of soy crisps

Yeah, it's 1 cup as a measurement. If you're talking those pre-made ones, that's two little cups. Each one is half a cup. (And the snack policy makes NO sense, if you ask me. A cup of Jell-O or two pickle spears is nowhere near the calorie and carb content of the soy crisps or crackers.)

this issue has been bugging me, too.

really, the sugar free jello is harmless. i guess the program is intended to alter habits, and if we begin grazing throughout the day, it would probably lead to more impulsive choices.

in the meantime....

mmm. jelloooooooooo. :boing:
