I've lost 5.5 pounds in FOUR days!

Postby bikipatra » March 29th, 2007, 5:11 am

I feel like a newcomer! I just had to post this here along with my journal because I am coming from a Sunday weigh-in of a gain of 2 pounds. I haven't done anything differently this week except stay compliant  (no sandwiches or cereal), use only shakes as supplements and actually SLEEP. NO more biki o'clock. I have been getting up at 6 or 7! I guess sleep really helps.

Woo Hoo,

Biki that is so wonderful. I am really happy for you. MEDIFAST rocks, and so do you. Are you doing anything differently with your meds that you are sleeping better. Awesome job biki, you are going to be at your goal weight shortly.

WAY TO GO!! :coolnana:

Yes, sleep is necessary to losing weight. I seem to lose my weight overnight every day. If we don't get enough sleep we get the stress hormones which certainly makes it harder to lose!

So glad to hear you are sleeping better AND losing!

Thanks everyone! And Katie what is so amazing about my sleep is that I gave on all the fancy expensive sleep meds and just bought some Tylenol Simply Sleep and stopped taking naps per Lauren's suggestions.

I was getting up at 2:15-4:00, so sleeping is a major victory for me.

Wow, I am so happy you are back on a normal schedule, Biks! Besides the obvious weight loss benefits it has, your body's chemistry is totally affected by sleep, and the more you get of it, and the more regular it is, the better!

Awesome!

Thanks again Lauren for all the sleep suggestions you gave. I sit there with my eyes drooping making myself stay up just 30 more minutes!

Wonderful, Biki! Sounds like you've discovered the right drug for your sleeplessness. You will be in those size 14's before you know it!!
