I lost 8lbs!

Postby Lulie » April 18th, 2006, 8:52 pm

Hooray!

I lost 8 pounds on my first weigh-in today. Been on MF 1 week today. I am so excited.

Hope this is the right place to post this. :?

It has not been easy, and I have wanted to cave in, but thank the Lord I resisted. 8lbs is a victory!

My daughter is eating popcorn, and I sooo wanted some, but I will go eat my next supplement and resist! I must do this. I am thankful for this board and all the info and support.

Hip Hip Hooray!

Popcorn.....my BIGGEST weakness!!! They have it here at work every day around 3:00p....the smell gets to me but I resist and have my bar with a cup of tea or coffee....but I can't wait until I can have som 94% fat free popcorn again as a treat :)

Thanks so much for the support. It really helps with this journey.

Sorry it has taken so long to reply, things have been chaotic here.

It has not been easy, but I really want this.

Bonnie, I love what you said: "You officially belong to the group of Medifasters - who have not given up on themselves but made a choice to TAKE BACK THEIR HEALTH AND STAND UP AND SAY "I want the old me back and there is no food out there that tastes so good that it is worth giving up my health for".

I saved that to read when I need encouragement. It states my feelings exactly! I am tired of hiding, hating my body, ashamed of myself in front of others.

Thanks so much to everyone.
