Losing 15 pounds by Christmas

Postby thankful4health » November 9th, 2007, 5:08 am

Hi,

Just need some accountability and thought I would try this group online.
I would like to give myself a Christmas present of 15 pounds weight loss which would put me at my ideal weight. That is going to be about 3 pounds a week. I will stay focused and follow the 5:1 plan with exercise.

good morning thankful, welcome to the forum and good luck on the program. I am not trying to rain on your parade because 15 lbs by christmas is DEFINITELY do-able. Just keep in mind that you have set an aggressive goal of 3lbs per week but you don't have a WHOLE lot to lose to get to your goal (lucky you! :D ). so it is possible that weightlloss might be a little slower. it is also possible that you might lose that whole 15 lbs in only 3 weeks, everybody and every body is different. I'm just saying that if after the first week you only lose 2lb per week, don't get discouraged because the program is STILL working. I'm cheering you on!!! keep us posted!!
