THANKS, EVERYONE!!!!!! And THANK YOU MIKE for posting my pics.

TODAY is DAY 53 8)

I just got back from leading a family retreat with my friend Cindy. We had a GREAT time, the weather was beautiful, and the experience was truely blessed.

My MF came along with me ;) and I went out walking yesterday...right on schedule. This evening I'll hit the yoga mat and call it a day!

It is SO great to be around all manner of (junk) food like I was this weekend....and simply walk away! Just 'cause it's there doesn't mean I have to EAT it

As Nancy says....NOTHING tastes as GOOD as THIN FEELS ;)

hugs,

Lois

Lois -

We're all so proud of you! You are really showing what this program is all about and are an inspiration to so many of us! Now I finally have numbers to post to my Spidey's chart for you! Pity I didn't see this before my update post today, but I'll change your numbers on my spreadsheet and for now, I'll just list your goal as 145!

huggz,

DAY 55 8)

Hello, my friends! Honestly, you guys are the BEST!!!!!!! Where else could I possibly get this kind of support?! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Yesterday my husband had the day off, and I was scheduled to do some ministry in Sea Isle City (the Jersey shore) at 7pm.....so we went to the beach for the day 8) I absolutely LOVE the beach, especially in the "off season". The weather was GLORIOUS....warm and sunny. We did our 25 minute walk on the boardwalk 8) and then enjoyed a little shopping and scenery. Needless to say, my trusty MF travel bag came along with me. No fuss, no muss, just shake, slurp, and GO!!!!!!!!! ;)

Today was YOGA for me. My back and jointas are feeling SOOooooo much better than they were BMF (Before MediFast).....I attribute my new pain free back and hips to three things....weight loss, MF Joint Health formula, and yoga....ALL THREE were made possible by MF and this forum.

Have an AWESOME day everyone, and thanks again for your WONDERFUL words of support.....

love and hugs to all,

Lois

P.S. Gerald my friend, you must have a direct hotline to heaven!!!!
After posting the other day, I decided to determine my goal weight the Overeaters Anonymous way: ask God! As I was praying, a little voice in my head said, "Read Psalms 140 to 150. You'll find your answer there." I made a dash for my bible and started reading......sure enough, there was my answer: in Psalm 145, "Adonai supports all who fall and lifts up those who are bent over. The eyes of all are looking to you; YOU GIVE THEM THEIR FOOD AT THE RIGHT TIME. YOU OPEN YOUR HAND AND FULFILL THE DESIRE OF EVERY LIVING THING." I could hardly believe my eyes.... This perfectly describes my experience with MF....giving up my trust in food and trading it in for trust in God. My goal weight? 145!!!!!!! And....I am committed to reading psalm 145 EVERY DAY to remind myself that it is God (not food) that satisfies my desires ;)

So you hit the nail on the head, Gerald!!!!!! 145 it IS ;) !!!!!!!!!

hugs,

Lois

Lois-maybe that was a message meant for you! As for the "hotline", no, but I do "log in" on occasion. My dear departed father-in-law was a minister and used to harp on me constantly about praying on a regular basis. I always told him I did, but I had to pray as "anonymous"! LOL

Thanks for bringing back a fond memory!
