DAY 56 :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Hi Everyone!

Gerald, I'm CERTAIN you are one of God's FAVORITE kids ;) Thanks for sharing the story about you and your father-in-law......you are a hoot 8)

Today I opted for YOGA instead of going out for a walk, because I'm fighting a headcold and felt like the yoga was more supportive of my body's need for extra rest.

In the old days before MF and my 100 Day Challenge, I would have "skipped" exercising today....and then tomorrow....and then again the day after that.....until :| :| :| .......the whole thing just fell apart.

I was so PROUD of myself just for getting on my yoga mat this morning! By tomorrow, I'll be out walking in the 'hood again ;)

By the way....MF Creamy Tomato Soup is YUMMY with a dash of tabasco sauce. I had a mug for dinner tonight and it was GOOD ;)

hugs to all,

Lois

DAY 58

Hello, friends!

Today was a YOGA day for me. I can hardly believe that DAY 60 of my 100DC is just around the corner, and a total of 137 days since beginning MF on June 2nd. Since that time I've gone from 230 to 170 pounds, and I am now wearing regular size clothing.

Better still, I feel GREAT (no more joint and low back pain) and I LIKE MYSELF !!!!!!!!! 8) I was in a constant state of depression and defeat over my weight.....and now I can face my reflection in the mirror and my life in general with a sense of hope and happiness. What a BLESSING

If you are reading this post and wondering if you can do this program....YOU CAN! It is simple....though not "easy". If you have a lot of weight to lose, you'll see results right away....but committing for the long haul is essential. The support of this forum will help you enormously. Most of us have lots of weight to lose (50 or 60 pounds or more), so don't be afraid to come out of hiding. We understand. The weight DOES come off.....one day at a time, one pound at a time....and it is SOoooo worth it ;) JOIN US!!!!!!! 8)

To all my fastin' friends....have a great shakin' day!

hugs,

Lois

Nice uplifting post, Lois. All things are possible. Congratulations for each of those 60 pounds. 137 days - wow.

I'm nearing 100 days and I have a bit of MF fever today -- think "cabin fever", like the kind of mental weariness of doing everything as right as possible and not messin' up for what seems today like "so long". Moi? I'm kind of surprised.

And YET when I think of Nancy doing 28 weeks, BIG WOW -- I think I'd be absolutely blue in the face from all the "character" that that would take. I guess we all have ups and downs when it seems easy and when it seems harder and more tense. For me, right now, it's kind of tense. A little bit of yoga would probably do me some good.

Take care!

DAY 59 8)

Hello, Everyone!

Today was YOGA....too dark and cold to walk in the 'hood this morning at 6:30am

But....I'll be out WALKIN' tomorrow ;)

Hope you've all had a WONDERFUL day.....

Thanks, Lois. Today was lots better again. You're moving right along. Pretty soon, you'll need a sequel to your 100 DC as it's passing so fast. If I remember, it's over the day after Thanksgiving. Hope you'll keep your motivational thread going after that.

DAY 63 :scratchhead: :scratchhead: :scratchhead: :scratchhead:

Hello, Friends!

I must admit I'm a bit confused :scratchhead: because I've posted every day for the past few days....but my posts are GONE :puter:

I mean, it's not like I don't lose stuff from time to time....but I've never lost POSTS

Anyway....I have been faithfully walking and yoga-ing ;) every day, and believe me, if it weren't for the support and accountability of this forum, I would DEFINITELY have skipped out on the exercise by now! On those days when I just don't feel like following through, I think of all of you, tie on my sneakers, and hit the turf 8)

Hope you all are havin' a GREAT day!!!!!

hugs,

Lois,

You are such a breath of fresh air! AND thanks for the laugh! That's exactly how I felt when I was trying to put all the wires back together on my computer when I moved it.
:help: :hammer: :help:

Since we have lost the same amount of weight almost (59# last Sunday), I too feel so much better inside about me! Went to a foreign film at the Korean Cultural Center at Univ of Hawaii the other night, and people seemed to be more interested in me now that I'm thinner. I think the confidence is shining through. It is great, isn't it!

Have a fun celebration and an enjoyable trip!

DAY 68

Hello, Friends!

Gerald and Camille....GREAT to hear from you! You are both doing SOOOoooo well! Keep up the awesome work.

Yes, I'm famous (infamous) for my LACK of technical expertise. My husband and kids are all VERY savvy with computers and techno-gadgets of all kinds, so they find my utter INEPTITUDE very very funny

Oh well, at least I'm good for a laugh ;)

I'm feeling a little under the weather, so I've been doing a little gentle yoga each day and waiting until I feel better before I get out to exercise more vigorously.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the fall weather!!!!!!!

love and hugs,

Lois

Lois,

I am still getting caught up on the posts that occurred in our absence and may I tell you how wonderful you look?

We know that God looks on the inside and that is the most important thing – to look and be good on the inside but YOU are looking wonderful! The transformation is amazing and I am so happy that you have documented it for all to see and read about.

You have been faithful to exercise even when you are feeling puny. Now that most of us are experiencing colder and rainy weather, we will all have to find alternatives to our outdoor exercise routines. We will soon change our clocks back to standard time and the days are growing shorter. Just want to remind everyone to be safe when walking or running in the dark – go with a buddy, a buddyette or a bone crunching big dog!

Lois, your spirit of confidence is radiating – you are such a good representative for the King!

Praying that you feel better really soon, little Darlin’.

DAY 70

Hello Friends!

I continue to experience technical difficulties on this end :hammer: SOooooo....when I don't post, it's because my ANCIENT laptop is refusing to cooperate :uhuh: :uhuh: :uhuh:

My wonderful and computer-savvy husband will get this thing together soon, but in the meantime....I'm TRYING to patient

Nancy, thanks for your encouraging words.

I'm still feeling icky....that time of the month AND that time of LIFE, if ya know what I mean!!!!!!!!!! I know you do ;) !!!!!!!!!!!!

But...I'm still doing my yoga every day, popping ibuprophin, and waiting to feel better. This too shall pass!

hugs,

Lois

Dear Lean and Lanky Lois ~

You are doing so well!

You know, once ya get in the Medigroove, nothing can stop ya, can it?

Hey, you be really careful now with that :hammer: hammer - don't accidentally on purpose bonk your techno-husby while he works on your laptop...it may be in your best interest to REMOVE the laptop from your lap before he works on it... ;)

that time of LIFE, if ya know what I mean!

Uh, yes, unfortunately, I DO know what you mean!

 Welcome to Menopause Manor!

Have you used the MF Plus Women’s Health shakes? It’s great for that time of life!

Recently the Women's Wellbeing for Comfort and Regularity, the Women's Wellbeing Menopause Relief and the WWB Joint Health shakes have been on sale.

I stocked up on them and use 3 a day - SOME women (not the Lovely Lois or the Lithe Leopard Woman, mind you) get  cranky when 'that time of life' occurs - well, how would YOU like to have an internal furnace and feel like you are having your own personal summer when you're standing up in front of a crowd of people speaking or dealing with teenagers or fighting with a skanky uncooperative computer? Huh? That would make YOU move a bit up the :x crankometer scale, too!

I also like the Women’s Wellbeing Menopause Relief capsules. There are 28 in a box for $16.95. One a day provides extra soy, red clover and vitamin E.

I used to be “Sweaty Betty” (awakened 23-27 times a night having a sauna...) and the Women’s Health Shakes and the capsules allow Leopard Woman to be as cool as ever!

Oh, my dear Lois, you will begin 2005 with improved health, a new look and a super outlook on life – because you can.

You are doing the unpleasant now for a pleasant tomorrow!  Love ya, Cutie!
