Wow... alot happens when you are away from the forum for a week. I started reading this thread, and at first was interested to find out what was going on with "guest" and the whole religion thing. Then I continued to read about how people felt about it. I was almost ready to post something, then all of a sudden it changed to food... and food porn (which I am still giggling about)... so, what I see is this. People are people.. they have their own beliefs about things. They also are able to discuss things intelligently (most people anyway), and move things along. They also have trouble sticking to an idea when the topics start to change... which is one reason that I love reading these threads.
Kudos to all who put input into this thread.
As for my own views... those of you who know me.. you know where I stand on religion... those of you who don't know me... if you want to know you can ask.
And as for my views on food... I agree with Supermom's pictures post...

A lot happens here when you're busy fighting flood waters... All I can say is I learned a lot when I moved from Kansas to Brooklyn. There are a lot of wonderful people on this planet with different beliefs. There are also a lot of bad people (hypocrites) from ALL beliefs. I go by one's character, not what one believes.

As far as the food porn goes, I bet that fruit in the medigrub pic is plastic and difficult to digest. Did I ever tell you I competed in the Nathen's hot dog eating contest on Coney Island once?

I grew up in Brooklyn. Never competed in a hotdog eating contest though!

The hardest part is choking down the hot dog buns, which is why they give you water to drink during the competition. I didn't eat hot dogs after that for a while.
