Thank you for the compliment, very sweet of you to say that. Hopefully my face will be much thinner in a couple of months.

JUNE 5, 2007 - 131.2#

Strong Women. Bone Density test. Shopping. Tired Girl.
That was my day...

TEE,
I went back online to try to find SKWIGGLY'S WORLD, and couldn't bring it up. That was the site where I found the 'scale' article. Maybe Google?
Anyway it was a good article explaining that bad ole scale.

DONNA, For sure your face will be thinner in a couple of months.
For some of us, it shows up in our face sooner than other "places".
That's okay. It all catches up sooner or later.
Keep up the good work!

Hi Lizabette - I too read your article on Biki's site and thought it was wonderful. It reminds us to not always gauge our success by the scale. Just wish my head would register it. I am obsessed with the scale.

SUE and BIKI,
Yeah, we are problably all obsessed to a certain degree, otherwise we wouldn't be weighing all the time.
But we're getting better, right?
Did my 2-mile walking tape, and getting ready to go shopping. (Really just exchanging something I bought yesterday.)
You guys are doing great in spite of the scale!

Thank you, TEE 'n CHINA,
There is really no explaining the scale numbers, especially on maintenance.
But I'm thankful that I am holding my own at about 5 pounds below goal.
I am only 5'1", so I have to weigh much less than you willowy, taller beauties.
Did you notice how nice TEE 'n CHINA sounds?

JUNE 9, 2007 - 130.4# - :?

The weather is warming up here in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas.
So today I'll do the two-mile walking tape indoors!
Did the SW weight training yesterday and I can already feel how much stronger I am at about everything.
I'm increasing the weights as we are supposed to do for a tougher workout. :weightlift:
We also took a huge car load of donations to a church rummage sale and I helped lift heavy boxes and sacks that would have really exhausted me before...
In fact I enjoyed it because of the extra energy I am feeling lately.
WhooHoo!
Now really, guys, I am not your superwoman type person, at all.
But I gotta say, this is pretty exciting stuff!
Really not much planned for anything today  ... we'll just see how it goes.
There's always something!

Lizabette you are such a wonderful person. And I like that have you ever heard of Tee n' Chynna. Pretty good play on names ...cute.

It's so great to hear how sucessful you still are on maintenance. You are a true inspiration. I am starting back exercising. Hoping it helps.

SUE, you're very sweet! Thank you.
Hey, if I can inspire anyone to start back exercising, I am so happy!
And I promise it can't help but help.
Just like losing that bad fat stuff you don't want and getting healthy and fit!
Boy, I think I could write a commercial on Medifast and exercise.
(Remarkable, because I was never an exercise person, nor could I stay on a diet long enough to get to maintenance.)
SUE, you are doing so good! Over half way to goal. Wowzer!

Since I wrote my earlier post, it has started raining!. Some thunder, too...
I'll be sure to stay dry.
But I did get in the 2-mile inhome walking, and now I have a good excuse to just relax or whatever comes to mind.

Nice if this holds for ROLL CALL tomorrow...
Up some early this a.m. Saturday is a good day to sleep in a bit, but when you're awake, you're awake.
So after my Bible reading and meditating to feed my soul, the forum came next!

Gotta go fix my favorite maintenance breakfast: :bib:
Oatmeal, with 1 TBSP flaxseed meal, 1/4 C Craisins, cinnamon, and skim milk. And coffee. YUM.
Oh yes, I drink a cup of water before and after!
I look forward to it each morning and never seem to grow tired of it.
I plan to do some type of exercise, :weightlift: No! :runner: Nah! Nothing too taxing. Probably just a walking tape a little later.
And then...why don't we all just take it kind of easy today and go with the flow?
