Beautiful woman (and handsome man!) in both photos. You were a lovely bride 60 years ago and also now. Thank you for sharing your photos.

Hi Lizabette,
I'm new to Medifast & checking out the journals. I just wanted to say that you and your husband look so beautiful together - both then and now! 60 years is such an awesome testimony. Thanks for sharing such a sweet pic.

Ahhhhhhh, what a sweet sweet couple..bless your hearts:+)..i'm only into my almost 3rd year of being married to my sweetie pie. We were married on June 5th, 2004. I had my favorite scripture read during the service which is (1 Corinthians 13) which speaks about the characteristics of love:+)...and just looking at the two of you shows me that you have "definitely" incorporated them into your marriage for 60 wonderful years:+) I sure hope that the good Lord smiles down on mine too.
Thank you Lizabette for sharing them with us.
Oh btw, i left you a comment over in roll call..hope you saw it!!

Love,
Chynna

Lizabette ~ those photos are simply TOO cute!!
Speaking of cute, I searched high and low for that duckling pic I was telling you about, but I must've erased it after showing it to DH. I do have a couple of duck pics I'll send you later (I'm at school right now). One is of a duck that jumped right up on the seat of the table where I was studying, his little duck head looks like a periscope across the table! Another is of a duck taking a piece of bread right out of my niece's hand!

Anyhoo...I hope your Mothers' Day was all you deserve it to be!

As promised...
You have to look kinda' close in the first photo to see the duck's head - it's pretty much in the center of the shot. Nosy parker!

Got duckies yet, Foxy One?

The stork visited our family on Friday; our daughter Becky’s second baby boy arrived at 3:06 AM.

Although his given name is Jacob Thomas, my 83 year old Daddy calls him ‘Whopper’ ~ he weighed 9 pounds 13 ounces and is 20.5 inches tall.

How sweet to hold a baby so fresh from the Father’s hand!

May the stork soon visit your Party Barge so the springtime lake celebrations can begin! :partytime:

 Loved the picture of you  huggin’ on Bill.

No wonder you’ve got a good grip on him; he is ever so handsome.
Itsy, you really are so beautiful!
:secret: You oughtta be a Dove Girl as well as a Duck Girl!

(Sojo, that really is a cute picture. It reminds me of a time we went to the wild life park in Winston, Oregon and an ostrich poked its head inside the car window and about nipped off my beak!
I appreciate your humor and clever postal inserts.)

Itsy, how blessed we are to know you; you :you: are a special friend to all.

We appreciate your wisdom, sweet nature and abiding faith in the One Who Loves Us Best.
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...

MAY 15, 2007 - 130.7# - So sad I could cry!

Today when DH checked on our mama duck, he found that she had been killed and the eggs either gone or all broken!
It had to be a hawk or something like that to have done it, I think!
It really devasted me. I think about how for weeks she patiently sat on her eggs so determined to hatch her little ones.
I didn't realize I had grown so emotionally attached. We actually talked to her and she seemed to understand that we did not want to harm her.

Thank you DEE. Yes, there is a happily ever after. I believe we can determine our own happiness in whatever situation in life we find ourselves, don't you?
I'm so glad you liked the pictures. I thought about putting a 'before' picture with them, but maybe not this time. DEE, you are my forever friend!
2GETSKINNY, Thank you too, sweetheart! Nice of you to post!

NANCY-My dear Leopardess one - Your posts always mean a lot to me. I wonder where I would be today without you and MMT/TSFL.
I always mean to include that in my list of appreciations.
All my congratulations on your new grand baby boy, Jacob Thomas--a strong name for a big 'Whopper" May he always be strong in the Lord!
'Fraid we will have to forego the Party Barge celebration. (DH has cleaned up the terrible scene left by whatever caused the tragedy there.)
It is now ready to be enjoyed when the occasion arises sometime soon.
Thanks for your too-generous remarks about our pictures---but I will admit that it turned out better than most have, especially the 'before' ones taken in recent years.
A Dove girl sounds nice to me. Thank you again.
