And fluctuate they did! But good that it is fluctuating on the lower numbers.
I've found that maintaining is different from the weight loss phase, since it is a learning process...things like what foods, how much, when...
things we don't worry about so much while doing a structured food plan.
That's what I really loved about M/F. A no-brainer!

Today, some great NSV's. At our neighborhood Birthday luncheon (once a month thingee) today.
Someone brought up about what I was doing to lose all the weight!
They seemed impressed about Medifast and how it worked for me.
Said I looked wonderful, tiny, peppy...all unsolicited.
Most of them saw the transformation happen from the beginning.
I did a good maintenance luncheon at the Italian Restorante.
Shrimp salad, tiny piece of fresh baked bread, a bite of the birthday dessert that was passed around for each of us. Nice day!

Just heard a huge clap of thunder so I think I should close this...
I love a good, hard rain!
So have a really good evening all.
Tomorrow is a new day for all of us.
Especially looking for the fluctuation to take a downward turn.

I read somewhere that it is normal for our weight to fluctuate by up to 5 pounds. I am quite sure a doctor wrote it. Don't you even worry about it. 130 is sooooo tiny!! :)

Lizabette - that is so wonderful that everybody is so supportive of you and even Medifast. I have been too afraid to tell anybody about Medifast because I am afraid they will think of it as a liquid diet and give me grief. Congrats on your continued success. :D

Thanks PASHTA. I'm sure I'll get used to the 'fluctuations' as a fact of life!
BTW, I like your new avatar!
And thanks to HB and T-WANDA. I do appreciate your input in my journal.
Just to know you are out there is nice!
SUE- I am always happy to tell anybody who is interested about Medifast and what it has done for me.
Usually, people are interested because they may feel the need of something that will help them get healthier and slimmer.
I certainly remember that I always was.
And even now, crazy as it seems, I read about every diet craze that comes along...
Sometimes I wish that everyone I see that does need help, as I did, could find the right solution for themselves.
There are lots of ways, but for me, it was Medifast!

I really felt today that I am where I need to be. That is a good place to be.
Now, I realize that I must not become complacent because of that good feeling.
How easy would it be to let this bad habit or that bad habit slip back into my daily life?
Too easy!
Then again, I'll probably always have days when I will just 'feel fat' even if the scale or my clothes say different.
Sometimes when that happens, someone will present me with a nice NSV to bring me back up again!
Like yesterday at the Birthday club luncheon....
Love those NSV's!

I am wondering if it is getting boring to post my weight each day, like anyone is really that interested.
Just thinking I might just post it on Sunday like most everybody else seems to be doing.
Naturally I will keep my own home food/weight diary. It does help me to keep track of what I am doing every day.

Today, the weather is beautiful, the lake is inviting, and DH planned to get our party barge ready to use.
Soon he came back on the deck where I was doing my mile or so on the treadmill and said,
"Well, we won't be going out on the boat any time soon!" A little concerned, I asked why.
"There's a duck hatching eggs on the back seat, and I'm not gonna bother those babies!"
Then, I saw a long-legged crane fly onto the boat dock and circle around the boat, like it was very curious about the whole thing.
I was so afraid it would scare the duck off.
Then our Yorkie Meg spied it and barked through the picket fence until it flew away.
Any way, I felt I must get a picture of the happy event about to happen and slipped onto the dock with my camera.
And here it is! Is that not the sweetest thing...?
Anybody know how long it takes to hatch eggs into baby ducks?
