But tell you what. Let's make a deal...
You put up an avatar, and I'll see what I can do about stirring up the wing dust for ya. You see, she doesn't really know what you look like...a rabbit or something?
Silver Fox's 'skinny stick' can be VERY persuasive when she wants to help out a friend in need.
Whadda you say?
Be anxiously waiting...

I have one already...i finally changed it from a bunny to my picture a couple of weeks ago... U can't see me?

Oh, ERICA. Thank you. Yes, by clicking my refresh button, I can now see your sweet avatar. I am embarrassed.
Now I am obliged to keep my part of the bargain with you. So... :whip:
This measure usually brings swift action. :lightening:
I think...I hear... the flutter... of angel wings.

The day after Thanksgiving and I am doing well. We had family in from Texas and Oklahoma and enjoyed a great time together.
I am still maintaining under goal weight (just barely)...although I ate things yesterday that I haven't eaten in two years!
And yes, too much of some of it.
BUT, today was a day of coming back down and eating very healthfully and light. No way am I going to let a day of indulgences become a slippery slope back to chubby city.
I bought another great walking tape with Leslie Sansone, WALK STRONG, which incorporates both aerobic and strength training with light weights and tried it.
I liked it very much and I believe it will be one of my favorites.
Tomorrow I will try to erect my new prelit Christmas Tree and start some decorating.
I am scheduled for a cataract procedure next week where I'll be receiving the new premium lenses that should free me from wearing glasses.
Won't that be just the grandest Christmas present ever?
Exciting days ahead...

That does sound exciting! I don't get my tree until tomorrow but can hardly wait. I am using all sorts of gold glass ornaments and then making my own Virgin Mary ornaments and Christmas cards. I don't have the right paper yet so I will just be scouting for images today. I love the internet!

BIK, I am so proud of you. In your journal you said you weighed less after Thanksgiving than before! Is that not amazing!
I weighed a couple pounds more, but it is back down to normal now. 132.6#
I know your tree is also going to be amazing! You will no doubt capture it on camera for all to see.
Our tree is going to be simple but nice. It is prelit with multi-colored lights.
I'm going to use the decorations we already have and then downsize and donate the rest of everything.
Too much stuff from over the years!
Oh, and you are making your Christmas cards. Creative, you are!
I did a little creative stuff also on my cards. They are photo cards from a company, but I personalized them.
Turned out great and ready to address and mail.
Downsizing our list also to only about 50 cards. We used to do hundreds!
Things, they are a-changing!
It happens when you get 'experienced' as Nancy says.
I hope that everybody around the boards had a fabulous, less-flabulous, Thanksgiving and did good...

I'm at 132.2 today, in my journal roll call.
I will check the Roll Call Forum to see all the good results.
Good Sunday all!

Got my Christmas Tree up and mostly decorated, so getting in the Christmas Spirit. Have cards to address and send soon.
Tomorrow is the big Eye Day for the new lens. I am fighting off a cold so must get that whipped. Think good thoughts!
And good days ahead for you all!

I got my new lens yesterday and was tested today 20-20 in my right eye. YAY!
If all goes well, I will have my left eye procedure done in two weeks.
Then away with the glasses.
It is absolutely amazing what new technology is doing, and I'm thankful I am part of it.
Weight at 131.4 this morning, so all seems well on the maintenance front.
It will be a month or more before I can do strenuous exercise, (weights, water aerobics, jogging, etc.) but I can do brisk walking.
Good!

Lizabette, so glad to hear that the eye surgery was a huge success and I hope that the next one will turn out just as well.

Thank you for being such a special and sweet woman. You are a blessing on this site.
