I haven't stopped by to see you for such a long time! :( Your table and chairs are beautiful. I notice the corner cabinet in the room...what is in there? I collect antique tea pots and have a lovely cabinet I got from my husbands grandmother. Sadly we lost many of our antiques in a house fire a few years ago. Glad to hear you are doing well in your new home.

Been missin' ya, MICK! Thanks for popping in...and glad you like the antique table & new chairs.
The dishes in the china cabinet holds a service of 12 Arita hand painted Black Rose china, a set that was bought during WW2 in occupied Japan.
We bought them from the service man who had sent them from Japan home to his wife. They're real 'purty'!
Love them antiques...grats on your teapot collection.

HOL, Thanks for the good evening wishes. 'Welcome on the studio comments.
I am especially impressed with your full compliance toward reaching your goal.
You have every reason to be proud and happy with your progress...
And so am I. WTG!

OH JOY,
YAY, you are doing so good! Heading toward the ole goal line. :drive:
Wish I had a few of your inches in height---shorty britches here!
Five ft. one in. to be exact! It ain't fair, but that's how life is, right?
WTG, my friend...

Thank you for the encouragement and if I could I wouldn't mind sending you a few inches, if I wear heals I can really tower over my husband and if I have good posture...gosh I can be quite high.

warm regards,
joy

I loved that feeling of being taller in heels even though I am only 5'7". Unfortunately I just can't make myself wear uncomfortable shoes anymore. I am always wearing my MBT's or ballerina flats and boots in the winter. Oh, and Lizabette, many men love petite women, as I am sure you know by now!

SEPT. 18, 2007 - 133.1#

HI JOY, thanks for the offer of a few inches height. Even with good posture as I am working on, it is my lot in life to be a shorty.
Glad you came by.

I'm with you, BIK, no keeling over for me in high heels. I'm waiting anxiously for 'boot' weather. I love 'em...all lengths!

BTW. Guys and Gals, please stop by CHYNNA'a journal. She needs a little encouragement. Appreciate it.

Lizabette, I see that weight and your smiley who isn't really smiling. ;) It is probably just some water retention due to your muscles getting a good workout again and not being as use to those particular activites as they use to be before the move?

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Thanks, TEE, my dear. Probably right about the water thing and exercise.
It does usually seem that when I exercise, my weight ups a little. :?
But, it is necessary to exercise for health reasons, and also tightening up.
Gonna monitor the cals a little closer today, tho'.
It's nice here today...hope it is for you, too.
You are just doing too good for words...

Hey, lovely lady! I have been totally and completely remiss in congratulating you on the move and all that good stuff! Don't get frustrated on the minor weight fluctuations, as long as you keep them in check (don't let them go above whatever your "top" is), then you're just fine! If it does, well, you have a couple watchful days and get rid of them...you know the drill, we all do!

XOXOX

LAUREN, you're just so sweet to pop in on my journal occasionally.
You're encouragement is appreciated.
Yep, I know the drill...and I know my top! And I know I can't get careless, without suffering serious consequences!
Thanks for your grats on our new move. We're about to 'get there'!
I am still awe-struck at your phenomenal achievement of weight loss and maintenance.
You're at the top of the heap of my heros!

SEPT. 19, 2007 - 132.8# :|

Not much happening yet. Took the girls, (Allie & Meg) to the beauty shop earlier, and getting ready to go to water aerobics (Y).
Pick up the girls...
Afterward some grocery shopping and a few errands.
Could be busier than I thinK!
Take care, all. See ya later...

Oh fiddle-dee-dee, you guys.
You're too sweet to check in on my journal.
TEE, I keep thinking how boring it must be to people to see my weight each day changing an ounce here and a pound there.
Honestly it is boring to me so it must affect others that way too.
I've been posting it for almost two years, for pete's sake!

Miss MARY, Thank you for being here on the boards. You don't realize I'm sure how much you inspire us.
100# is no small potatoes.
Both of you, I admire your tenacity and determination to finish what you have begun---until the goal is finally attained ---and beyond!
That's our real victory --- the beyond!

Boring? No ... It's hopeful as far as I'm concerned. Knowing that finally this will not be just more yo-yo dieting! It's truly as you cleverly so stated:

Thanks, MARY, no more yo-yoing for us, right?
Today it's 131.7 so I'll decide how I handle the posting situation soon.
Today is water aerobics at the Y.
It's only 5 minutes away, so no excuses not to go, even if DH is below the weather and not going with me.
He calls it the 'galloping gonkus', but seems like a bad case of flu or sinus infection/congestion.
Sure don't want it to catch me....so I'll be running.
