JUNE 20, 2007 - 131.1# 8)

Guys, you are not going to believe this! I did a fast 4-mile inhome walking tape this morning. It included some jogging.
I didn't know if I would do the whole thing when I started, but I just felt okay to keep doing it, with no problem.
Ain't you proud of me? I am!
For lunch, I'm having a great MF Beef Stew with added veggies, (spinach, mushrooms, celery) YUM, and it is a lot!

PATTY, Thanks a bunch. I guess I'll have to be patient to see your new avatar. Not easy for me!
But glad you are doing so good!

Janae quote:Consequently, I have not done anything very consistently. I am doing my own modified version of MF- something like the diabetic plan with some supplements and additional, limited food of other types. All the while, staying within my doctors' recommendations for me, considering some health issues I have.

JANAE, I'm happy to hear that you are still working a modified MF plan and losing some more.
You have had such a difficult time of your life.
We'd still like for you to continue posting with your avatar and ticker.
It possibly would still motivate you to continue losing, while staying with your doctor's recommendations.
Your health is the most important thing, and losing weight is a big part of that.
And we are definitely your friends and ready to encourage and help you anyway we can.
We're cheering for you. :cheerleader:

So anyone who can, tune in to the Maintenance Call tonight, or listen to the recording later. Hope it turns out okay...
;)

Thanks, HB.Sweet of you to take the time for my 'fame' session. Hope we both do okay.
BIKI, You are not doing so badly yourself. I think it would be so nice to be within walking distance of so many different interesting places...
I guess we will both have to be patient, PATTY. :|
On a weight loss plan, patience is something we have to learn.
Right, BIK?

TEE, I tried to post this in your journal this morning and it was was rejected. I wanted to save it, so here it is....

TEE, G'Morning,
I am so far behind on reading your journal. Forgive.
Oh, please do listen to the recording from last night.
Nancy's talk on "It's Never Too Late" is just so inspiring...and fits us all to a TEE!
It was such fun being her guest, too.
You are just having too much fun with your g"kids. Sigh.
For me those days are long past, but there are always 'greats'. It's just that by this time, they are scattered all across the country.
You are doing so good, and I so admire you for your patience. I promise it will pay off.
And in the meantime you are getting your healthy body back, love, don't forget that!

Hi Lizabette -

I listened to the recording earlier this morning. It was excellent. You and Nancy did a wonderful job. I have never taken advantage of any of those telephone calls - but after listening to this one - I think I need to make it a priority You aer so right when you said that the support you receive during your MF journey is very crucial. I was also glad to hear that you allow yourself a treat once a week. From the beginning for me, I have been contemplating that - being able to treat myself once a week. I think that is reasonable and something that would help me on maintanance once I get there. I also enjoyed Nancy's take on turning negatives into positives e.g. I enjoy feeling good, I want to exercise versus I hate dieting or I don't feel like exercising.

Thank you for sharing the call with us. It was wonderful. Have a wonderful day and congrats on your four miles yesterday!!

Thanks so much, SUE. I'm so glad you enjoyed the Maintenance Call last night.
It was so exciting for me to be NANCY's guest. Wasn't she just wonderful?
All the things you said in your post are exactly what I thought was so inspiring.
Maintenance can be an exciting journey when we think about all the benefits that go along with it.

TEE, Thank you for listening in to the 'call'. Glad you enjoyed it.
HAPPY, You just keep on keeping on and you will get to Maintenance Land.
You can still listen to the recording if you wish. Click on the site below for the numbers.

Hope you like it.

My health and fitness benefits just so far outweighs the numbers on the scale, that I will not worry about that... so long as I remain focused on the steps it takes to promote them.
That is my new mantra now.
