Morning Lizabette! What a great # that is to see---you've been below 130 more often it seems. :D Pretty soon, it will be very unusual to see 130 pop up on the scale. You are doing an excellent job of maintaining and I appreciate you sharing your weight with us so often because we're watching that it can be done! (still functioning on less than one cuppa coffee--but I know what I mean, even if it doesn't make much sense ;) to anyone else).

TEE. Thank you. That would be great to always be under 130!
It's a good thing you said you wanted me to keep posting my weight, 'cause I was just about ready to say only once or twice a week.
I feel like it's boring or som'pin to ya'll.
And sometimes I might be a discouragement...
So now, I'll just join you with that next cuppa coffee. :toast: (Tha's coffee!!!)

BIKI, sometimes we need to just step back from ourselves and see how far we have come, ...
and visualize what we are becoming.

Hi Lizabette!
wanted to tell you I have a nest with 3 eggs and a bird sitting on them. I was watering a hanging flower basket and saw this ball of fuzz..... and there's the eggs! I was afraid mom would not come back, but she has. :D
I love to see your weight, it's an extreme inspiration.
thanks.

Thank you so much. You have really helped me today. This morning when you said to take it easy and now this. I went to Mass, took a leisurely 1 mile walk (instead of over-doing it like a crazy woman trying to move the scale). I also got a magazine to take my mind off things and just feel so much better after reading your post and a few others. Thanks again.

HB, Nice to see you again! I'm not sure if I mentioned your avatar. Anyway, I like it...such a happy smile!
Now, we'll have to see what happens with the bird eggs. Please keep us posted.
WTG on the big 40-plus pounds!
Thank's for stopping by...

JUNE 11, 2007 - 130.9# :|

Walked one mile at the Y today. I may walk some more in-home later as it seemed like not enough!
I bought a DVD for 1-4 miles today plus 1 Mile Jog. and I believe it will give me a more challenging workout.
I actually jogged some today trying to catch up with someone. I surprised myself...it wasn't hard at all!
Tomorrow is the free weights class so it will be a rounded out exercise program.

LAUREN, if you happen to 'stalk' my journal, I would love for you to 'annoy' me anytime!
It's always nice to hear from the Medifast expert, (don't deny it!) and helps in ways you don't realize.
Wish you would journal, and I guarantee you a very appreciative audience.
Been meaning to say that I'd be thrilled to see your gorgeous face on your avatar.

Lizabette, you are every bit as much the expert as I am! You are maintaining beautifully, have a healthy structured eating and exercise plan, and most importantly, are enjoying your life! To me, there's no better proof of our success than the fact that we're happy!

I am sorry I don't come visit your journal more often, I do read it periodically (as I do others), just don't always have something to add. You'll notice I generally only post when I have something concrete to say - I just don't have enough time to be as wonderfully encouraging as you and a few others in everyone's posts - but we all know how much you're needed for those kind and helpful words!

I don't think I'm the journaling type. Not to say I don't like to talk (evidence proves I've got endless amounts to say!), I just don't like feeling the obligatory pressure to talk. I also always refused to keep a food diary. It's a stubborn thing of mine. I need to feel "compelled" to put something on paper (or computer), and then I write. But thank you for the "gentle" push, for now I'll just shove random things into Maintenance Section of our forum.

Hmm, an avatar. Not sure. It kind of freaks me out to have to see my own face every time I log on. No kidding. It freaks me out to see me in pictures still - I don't really recognize myself, and it always gives me a weird feeling, still a bit disconcerting, like looking in a funhouse mirror. So, we'll see...

I will try to post some new photos (if I take any soon) in the Studio section.

You are doing A-MAZ-ING, Lizabette, and it's your spirit that makes you all the more special here. Thanks for your continued enthusiasm and goodness!

Oh, and visit Dogma's journal for the whole food/exercise info you requested...it's long, here's your warning! :-)

JUNE 12, 2007 - 131.3 :?

Hi, LAUREN,
So sweet of you to respond to my request on my journal.
Thanks for the extremely nice things you had to say.
And I did check ROBIN's journal for the helpful food/exercise info.
I read every word more than once.
Some things we have in common, such as not counting food calories.
I've been on enough diets in my life to practically have them all memorized.
I have written in a simple food diary (notebook) from day 1, though, generally what I eat and my weight, exercise, etc. usually at the end of the day.
Otherwise, it's so easy for me to forget.
I enter my weight each day (software program) and can tell you what I weighed on any particular day from the day I started MF in January 2006.
That works for me! Keeps me on track.
I went back over to Maintenance Section which I have sorely neglected and read and replied to several of your posts there.
I understand why it is difficult to really do justice to the posts and journals, as we'd like to.
It is just great that we have so many wonderful guys on the forum to take up the slack.
LAUREN, you're such an inspiration. This sounds trite, but it is so true!
I hope that you and our other maintainers can continue to be here for our fellow MF travelers for as long as possible.
Hat's off to you!

Morning Lit'l bette!

Do you know that I still miss Mama Duck and it comes to mind "I wonder how she is doing with those eggs?" . I find that odd...how did she get ingrained into my memory in such a short amount of time? Weird.

Just wanted to pop in with a 'hello'. ;)

CHINA, First, I gotta congratulate you on reaching your goal! BIG cause for celebration!
It kind of got overshadowed by your illness, but you did it! You did it!
So now you have entered Transition/Maintenance and I hope I have the first honor of presenting you with the Maintenance Medallion!
Add it to your signature for all to see, 'cause it's yours. You earned it and you deserve it!
Image

I hope you are feeling much better now. Oh, I totally understand your feeling about not regaining the weight!
Have you discussed this with your health advisor here (Nancy, maybe?) to give you suggestions.
Also the Transistion/Maintenance Guide may have good ideas how you can incorporate the doctor's advice with it. Have you downloaded that yet?
Your doctor should be the first to realize the importance of not adding back the weight!

You gotta let us know how that all plays out. There has to be a way!
Yes, my Joe-boy played at a concert since then and did his gramma proud.
Love ya the most!
