Oh, NANCY,my Leopardy friend, thank you for popping in and saying such nice, funny encouraging things for us all to enjoy!
I am so in awe of you and the other BIG losers here, while I did not have so far to go on my journey to health and fitness.
I am constantly amazed that you were able to do it...could I have done it?
Now you are a constant support to all of us along the way, and it honestly would be so very hard without that!
All the things you said you wanted to do, NANCY, but couldn't because of the old fat :x and now you can and do!
Just like anyone reading this thread, can and will do!
Thank you from my heart!

Well, It's done! . I finally got it all together and sent in my Success Story Testimonial and pictures!
So now the ball is out of my court and whatever will be will be!
What a relief and sense of accomplishment... and no matter the outcome I am so happy I did it!
So many others have accomplished the 'impossible', just as many on this board are doing and will soon be living out their dream.

Yes,our patient, determined and committed Mama Duckster, is still homesteading on our boat awaiting the miraculous outcome.
And she isn't even aware that she is our shining example...

Regardless of what *they* decide.....you will always and forever be a testament to the possibilities of MF. You bring so much joy and beauty to this forum. It would not be the same place without you. Your words mean so much and always come from the heart. I know that I am a different person, in part, because of the example you have set for me.

Thank you Lizabette!!!! You're a winner in my book!!! :trophy:

I agree with Donica Silver Fox...

I'm SO thrilled you submitted, but no matter what they say, you're a success story and a winner in my book and an inspiration to SO MANY of us!

MAY 4, 2007 -- 129.3#

Oh, it feels so good to be under the 130# mark, (even if for just a day!)
A great NSV today on top of that...DH was waiting at the Y lobby for me to finish water aerobics.
He asked an elderly lady if she had seen me in the pool, and she said, "Oh, yes, the little one!"
I still can't get it through my thick skull that I would look little to anyone!
Did I mention that I am doing a Strong Women's weight resistance training class to promote healthy bones.
I think my bones are pretty good already, but I want to keep them the strongest I can.
No question, age does take a toll on our bones! :x
I'm trying not to go overboard on exercise (not good!), but to do some moderate exercise every day.
Like someone said, it is an investment in our health bank!

DEDE, thank you & DONI, thank you.
I know am a winner in so many ways and it 'tickles' me that you think so, too.
But there is no monopoly on winners...we're all winners or we wouldn't be here! Get it?
Love ya'll!

Today is Day 15, for our star boarder! I got a little excited when I took this picture.
It may be my imagination, but it looked like something was happening...maybe you can see it too!
I'm getting attached to our mama duck. I admire her perserverance and calmness everytime I see her.
All for now...

This IS :sheepjump: exciting, Itsy.

:hmmm: Maybe a little dish of fresh worms and some river greens will be a nice treat for MaMa Duck.

 Wonder where that ol' drake is?

 Probably relaxin' with his webbies up and a remote in his wing.

Do you have chairs set up on the dock for the family in wait?

Can't wait to see the hatchling announcement! :felix:

:secret: People, this is a lot how we feel when you are in the thinnin' process -

we :shades: watch you appear on the scene,

make sure everything is :whip: good and :snooze: comfy,

 observe you through the losing phase,

:boing: eagerly cheer you on as you approach your :cleader: goal
(that’s like where the MaMa is right now – so close but not quite hatched yet),

we :partytime: celebrate the special event and the weeks of :cheerleader: transition
(that’s when you begin to spread your wings)
and then keep :cateye: tabs on you during maintenance
(when you come back to the nest once in a while for a check in).

:treadjog: It’s the life cycle. :treadjog:

Some of you :nonono: crash and hurt your wings,

but the nest is always here and we can :pet: patch you up

and :drive: send you off when you are :weightlift: stronger.

:coach: Boil the water, ready the blankies!

Let’s :toast: sip some soothing herbal tea as we await the unveiling! :woohoo:
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...
