I love it, too, but sadly it won't cook and plan for you, like Oprah's chef.

Hey, have you ever tried fitday ? I just finally got hooked up with it and I really like it because I can keep track of all of my food and activities on there and I don't have to do too much of the math once everything I want is entered in. I will pm you the link :) Cheers,
Karli

Thanks KARLI, Fitday looks like a very workable plan for maintainers as well as for those losing weight. So kind of you to PM me about it also.
I'll try to get connected up with it soon. I need all the help I can get.

MISS T, appreciate your nice comments on my little loss. Keeping my thoughts positive to continue the downward slide.

ROBIN, you are doing so good and are one of my examples in continuing maintenance.
No way, I can keep up with your activity level, but I can be consistent in my diminished amount of exercise compared to you.
Poor Oprah. As rich as she is, it won't buy her anymore than we have, without the help of a chef/trainer!
But I wouldn't turn one away, either.

LARA, You keep up the good work, girl. Thanks for your input.

I have to tell you I am a newly converted fitday addict. I love my account!! It's been a real benefit for me to see my day on paper. I've had to add a lot of foods, but LOVE it!!! 8)
.My favorite thing about fitday is they won't have a typical item I am trying to add but have stuff like scrambled eggs with cow's brain. It's true. Put in the word "egg" and do the search. It pops right up!

 eggs and cow's brains? Gulp! I don't think I'm ready for that one. ;)

Lizabette you are such a positive voice on this forum. I enjoy reading so many journals and yours is right there at the top of the pile of those that make me smile when I see that they've been updated!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

!

They have other weird stuff in there too. I mean supposedly Fitday is for people who are trying to lose a little weight and some of the foods listed are caloric death!

MARCH 28, 2007 - 132.5# - What is going on here!

Well, ole girl, take it as it comes! I believe I had a physical issue that caused that, because no way it was what I ate.

Hey, but an NSV today made up for it. Did some shopping (looking) today, and spied this great navy skirt, fitted waist (no elastic or gathers) with flared hem, SIZE 6!
I looked and it and thought, I believe that will fit me. Raced to the fitting room and tried it, and it was a perfect fit!
Then, I wondered what I had in my closet to go with it.
Guess what? I found I had the perfect top to go with it! Neat, huh?

So just keep on going...did the water aerobics today, and finished off later with an exhausting walk/run with our hyper, undisplined babies
who drag us side to side, down the street...on a long leash.
Honestly, DH and I feel we have had it after that every day! They insist on it and make no bones about it!

Beautiful Spring day today, our azaelas are blooming out, and other plants peeking up!
God's handiwork on nature and all of us!

MARCH 29, 2007 - 131.8# (Is about 132# my destiny?)

Not much to report today. Everything was pretty much as usual today. It was treadmill day, errands, baby walk/runs, sticking to maintenance...
The weather is at it's most beautiful, the glorious peonies are shooting up and I can't wait until they bloom. The lake is glassy and calming as I do my treadmill session.

My question is: Is about 132# my destiny? It sure seems that's where I keep returning to.
It could be as someone has said that I am building muscle through exercise, but honestly, it doesn't seem like I do enough strenuous exercise to do that.
Anyway, it is my desire to keep on until I am under 130, and use that for my top weight.
Clothes are looser and smaller it seems. And I am enjoying my new weight and feelings of accomplishments.
I'll keep slugging along, even as I did with the original weight loss phase, but really I am pretty much where I should be so it doesn't seem as urgent.
But maybe this keeps me alert to the fact that I must not get complacent about weight maintenance, and all the health benefits that go along with it.
DH kind of watches me and reminds me to not lose any more.
I have plenty of NSVs to keep me motivated...
I just want everyone to go ahead and complete their goals, too.
It is so worth it.

Thanks for the encouragement to achieve our goals, Lizabette. I still have over 40 pounds to go but I really feel I can do it.

MARCH 30, 2007 - 132.4#

Getting here late tonight, after 11 p.m.
So I'm just going to say, I hope you all had a great day today.
It's been beautiful here today...up to almost 80.
But it's my beddy-bye time!

Oh, must tell you...DH had his 79th birthday today!
We went out to dinner with friends and I did my usual baked salmon, nice veggies and fruit.
I still don't let myself have the hot rolls and dessert!
(Even though I could in moderation.)
I've learned a few things in my time...
