WOW! Back to a pleasant, sunny day in beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas!
Hope it's nice where you are...
It's great seeing how good so many of are doing, keeping up the good work! :-P

130.8 today! Still trying to maintain my new goal weight of 130#.
As I said it is a challenge that is worthwhile.
It has been harder to maintain this than my former goal, but still doing okay, I think.
I think my body is going to level off to where it should be and I will be happy with that!

We did the Y stuff today and I felt like I had a really good workout doing water aerobics.
Then after dinner tonight we took the girls, Allie & Meggie, out for a short walk and got a mini-workout.

Just a few comments here to let you know I am staying 'accountable'!

Well, I am all over the boards today. 131.9#!
So do just as I always have and just keep on keeping on!

I have been working on organizing my closet and separating clothes, and I am wondering how I ended up with so much of 'just stuff! '
One thing, I'll have incentive to keep maintaining, to be able to wear my winter type things next year!
I will miss getting to wear some of the neat things I really like.
But on the other hand...there are some other things I will enjoy wearing soon!
Also getting things together for donating, and for a garage sale when we know the weather will cooperate.

It's good guys, and so worth it!

MARCH 1, 2007

Is it March already? How time flies when you are having fun! It is another beautiful day.
I went to a fantastic sale at one of the nicer department stores this morning, and hey a good NSV happened.
I tried on a beautiful fitted but flared skirt, size 6, and it fit perfectly.
I didn't buy it, but it was nice knowing I could if I really wanted to.

I wish I could keep up with all the journals, but no way I can...
but it is really great how journalling has caught hold and so many are doing it!
The few I do get to read I really enjoy, but I know I am missing out on a lot of good things.

131.2# this morning. Still bouncing up and down a few ounces every day.
I'm sure it will always be that way, but still I need to keep doing what I know to do...
weigh each morning, keep a home journal of my daily weight and all my foods.
Especially important is eating a good breakfast each day, and not letting myself get too hungry.
(I had not realized the importance of that for so many years of trying to lose weight.)
And the other things necessary to maintain...after a while it pretty much comes natural to know what to do and what not to do!
It would be pretty easy to let up on things, but it wouldn't be a pretty picture before long.
Keep shakin', y'all!

Lizabette,

Thank you so much for your support - being able to come here and vent in my journal and know that everyone understands and cares is so important. This really isn't easy stuff, and you're proof positive that we can succeed!

BIKI, How sweet are you---taking time from your grand vacation in HK to keep in touch with us here in good old USA.
Doesn't Hong Kong have the most beautiful lights and scenery at night? But really no more beautiful and radiant than you are... absolutely!
Thanks for the travelogue pics.

DEDE. Thank you, good pal. You mean a lot to me!
I can't believe that I have been maintaining almost as long as it took me to lose the weight---to me, that is a miracle!
Hey, you are in the 160's...magic numbers to me.
The closer to goal you get the easier it will be to slack off some, but slug it out and don't do it!

CARRIE--with your pink haired avatar. I'll bet you look just as sweet in real life. If you are in STUDIO, I have missed it.
You have so much help and encouragement here on the forum that you can't help but sweep on to goal!

TAWANDA, I'm so glad you are here and really working hard to be the healthiest and fittest you can be.
You know, I haven't seen you in an avatar or STUDIO either,
but you are so positive and supportive of others that I know you will continue to do great!

You all have made this one of my best NSV days!

MARCH 2, 2007

130.8 this morning!
Which surprised me a little because yesterday somehow I felt hungrier than usual.
So I made sure I ate everything I dared and still stay within bounds to maintain...like extra fruit, veggies, dairy. (All healthy stuff!)
So I'm still in the learning process...
I read everything I can pertaining to healthful foods, and ways to maintain, etc. etc.
So one never get too old, right?
Every day is a little different with me and with every one, and so we roll with the punches.
Get up and dust ourselves off,
And all is right with the world again!
Well, off to the Y this morning to stir up my metabolism!

You're are right on.......we are never to old to learn something new. I learn new things every day from my students.....most of the things I don't really need to know, but.....it keeps me up with "their" world so that I can relate to them better.

You have such a beautiful spirit, Lizabette. We are blessed by having you here with us. Thank you for being a beacon of hope and inspiration.

Thank you so much, DONI!
You are in a wonderful profession and in a prime position to impart good values and morality to your students...
...and now even an example of a healthy way of life. That is a blessing!
I am blessed by you and others who support and encourage me.

4 realz!
Lizabette, you're better'n snuff and not nigh as dusty!! (Arkie talk ;) )
We don't stop learning because we get too old, we get old because we stop learning.
YOU are a wonderful example of that. Plus, you're cute as a bug's ear (more Arkie talk!).
Thanks so much!
