Hopebaby wrote:Good morning Lizabette - I totally understand about your sewing materials and supplies being sacred! I would want to pack those things myself too.

Here's hoping you have a good day, drink lots of water and don't miss mealtime and let's call on the whoosh fairy to visit you tonight! Linda

Thank you, HOPE. I feel that I accomplished a lot today. My sewing things are safe and secure in packing boxes.
You just reminded me to go drink some more water. Hold on a minute til I get back!
Okay. I did better on the water today, so maybe the whoosh fairy will pay me a visit tonight.
Same goes for you...

Oh, CHI. You're safe and sound back with us again! I'll bet you could pack rings around me if you were here to help---but I take my sweet time and get it done somehow.
I read your journal today and looked at all your pictures. What fun!
I did feel for you when I saw the picture where you were thinking about Errin. Is she doing okay?
But Whoohoo on the goal picture. So sleek and sophisticated at the piano.
I thought, is that our CHINA?
And mercy yes, I am soooooo proud of you for resisting all that FOOD on the ship. But it was okay with me for you to have that one good ice cream cone.
I'll have to remember what you said to the FOOD, tho'...I may need it sometime! Missed you...
Love you the most

Serendipity wrote:Oh Liz, I do understand about the sewing stuff. I'm only now starting to recover from an incident that happened while I was away babysitting. Mark's dog got into my knitting bag and thank goodness she didn't eat any of the yarn, but she did eat the leather braided strap. It was a new bag and very chic.......needless to say I'm not speaking to the dog.....and might not ever again. You don't mess with my knitting and get away with it!
Oh, and I need to add.....I'm barely speaking to Mark because he doesn't apologize for his precious puppy. "She doesn't know any better"......grrrrrrrrrrr :x

JO, I can see you and I are on the same wave length about our sewing stuff.
When I packed almost a full big box of yarn today, I thought of you.
Thing is, you do so much more of it than I do...but you know what else I thought?
When I get all settled in I want to really get started back with the knitting and crocheting---just for the relaxation of it all.
Sorry about Mark's puppy ruining your new bag...but really, "She doesn't know any better". So try hard to forgive and forget!
Especially Mark...we wouldn't want to mess up his entire childhood over it!
You can get even when he gets older, and refuse to give him the keys to your car!
That'll teach him!

AUG. 19, 2007 - 133.5#
I'd sure appreciate it if someone could explain why my scale is fluctuating so wildly this last week and today!
Of course, I've read all the reasons, water, stress, muscle, no-good-reason, etc. etc. but just wanted to fuss a little bit about it!
Still in maintenance range, tho'.

JOY and LASI, thank you both for popping in on my journal to say Hi and wish me a good day!
And it has been a good day. So nice of you...

CHI, I read the message and some posts on your journal and elsewhere.
It is absolutely delightful to have you back in circulation again!
And, I'm going to see that you get your medallion back or know the reason why!
I even wrote to UNCA for you and kindly requested he restore it back to your siggy.
I see you are now down 2.5# below your goal. Forsooth and Fantastic!
Love you the most!

Oh, HOL, baby girl, good idea about the knitting class! I've done some knitting but mostly crocheting. Seems easier.
Oh when will I be able to get back to stuff like that? Can't wait!
The next few weeks may be our busiest time ever, doing closings, packing for movers, unpacking, getting our house in tip top shape for a hopefully sooner-rather-than-later sale.
How daunting!

Egg me on, guys, I need it!

"She doesn't know any better".

But Liz, funny thing is, I really think she does! Why then would she leave Mark's leather belt alone and go for my bag? Splain that!

AUG. 20, 2007 - 132.6# 8)
Just checking in this morning before the rush and push!
Sad today. A dear close friend in OKC has passed away. So I'm making a personal sympathy card to send.
The family rquested we come, but they understood due to DH health, etc. why we couldn't!
Broken-hearted about it!
A neighbor man down the street also died unexpectedly a few day ago, and we'll be taking some food for the family.
That is a warm, friendly tradition that we still observe here.
Everyone knows each other.
So all for now.
Good day, ya'll!

I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend and neighbor Liz. Keep your chin up and try not to work to hard with all that packing. Hope you have a good day.
