Lizabette's 55 pounds lost and 5# to go!

I hope these pictures are okay. I don't need to ask if you notice the difference.
I can't go anywhere these days without friends I haven't seen for some time asking me how I lost so much weight.
I'm very happy to tell them!

The first picture, of course is my BEFORE picture, taken at 195 pounds or more some time before beginning Medifast.
2nd picture in the casuals was taken yesterday morning on Saturday, July, 29th, getting ready to go shopping for some smaller 'duds'. Was nearly 140#, almost 55 pounds gone.
Next is taken this morning (Sunday, 30th) feeling great and heading for church!
Still have 5 pounds to go to GOAL!

Glad you posted pictures. You look so happy! Proud too..

You've done awesome! I wish I was that close to my goal.

For all the nice words and compliments!
I really do feel proud of my accomplishments. Six months ago, I don't know if I really believed that I could do it!
But I was willing to try!
The Medifast structure made it easy and you all smoothed the way for me!
I'm sure that we don't realize fully how much the support and encouragement helps, when we tackle such a challenge as losing weight,
especially when we have tried hundreds of times to do it before.

How cute are you?? What an amazing thing you've done! I can't wait to feel as good as you look. BTW, I absolutely love your hot red kicks (that's shoes in college student lingo!).

You know what?
One of the neatest things about posting pictures (horrible or otherwise) is all the great NSV's and support you get from our fellow sojourners!
(That's my newest description of what we are!)

Thanks to you, EVIE, ROBIN, JENN AND SOJOURNER. You are all wonderful!
I am also learning a lot! In college 'lingo' my red shoes are 'kicks'!
I know there is a name for new clothes, but SOJOURNER will need to refresh me...
I'm gonna need it it cause I'll need some more new 'duds' (??) real soon!

So now you know why I want to post every five pounds!
Live as long as I have and you'll catch on!
Get those pictures in for your NSV's and support to carry you through til the next 5 pounds!
