LOVE Neil too!!

Postby Guest » July 8th, 2006, 9:03 am

I love Neil and Barry and Carpenters, and really, almost all music. But I guess today, those guys are embarrasing.
[Deedee, I saw a Neil Diamond cover band SuperDiamond last week. If you love Neil, you'll love them, a more rockin' version of Neil, or as they're described on their website, "Neil Diamond on steroids". Check out their website (their name dot com) and see if they're playing anywhere near you, if so, go, you won't regret it.] Even Neil Diamond likes them and showed up at one of their concerts to play with them once.

I love, love, love people watching, definitely one of the most "interesting" things to do.

I love not only singing in the car, shower, home...okay anywhere I think I'm alone really, with the "microphone", but I have the clear image of the rock-star I am in my mind with all the adoring fans cheering me on.

I love going to tear-jerker films alone while PMSing, so I can cry and sob like a baby, very theraputic.

Crying at the dumbest commercials while PMSing.

Ahhhhhhh, there's so many so I think I'll stop there

wow... there are too many here that list things that you shouldn't be embarrased about!

i mean.. mini's? come ON! i love the mini! i read Mini Magazine!

RHPS isn't embarassing. i used to go as Magenta and have been to well over 30 shows since i was a teen.

Star Trek, Star Wars, old skool BSG, and Smallville? i openly admit to loving those. proud of it too! ;)

wait.. Doctor Who is embarassing? HECK NO!

anyway, here is my "A little embarrassed to admit that I like......" list:
- 80s brit pop
- Gilmore Girls (though i'm trying to get out of the embarrased stage for this)
- Nanny 911 (i have no kids and think it's hilarious. gives me more reason not to breed)
- the movie Cabin Boy (it's just so bad)
- MaryJanice Davidson books. they are the "supernatural romance" books with werewolves and the likes. i'm too embarassed to buy them from the bookstore, so i get them at the library instead. i seriously do NOT want to be caught in the romance section. heck i find the erotica section to be more browse worthy.
- trance music. especially anthems.

hrm... i was sure the list would be bigger. but that's it thus far.

<---------Here's the second! I credit MacGyver to keeping my family together when my boys were young teenagers. Every night with the paper clips/toothpicks/duct tape. Lol, when my boys would come to me with a problem, I would say "Don't worry, all we need is a paper clip and a toothpick to fix that".

I never watched MacGyver...but I knew who he was and of course new of the show. I DID meet him though! Well...errr...rather chased him down from "The Nutcracker Ballet" at the Shrine Auditorium in LA to his limo until he FINALLY stopped to give myself and a friend the time of day! LMAO!

I love sappy movies...unless they are ones that hit home for me and make me bawl for days.

I sing Kareoke (sp?) Haven't in a while though.

Fall asleep to Nick at Nite every night.

LOVE 70's music...including Barry Manilow, BeeGee's, Air Supply etc etc

HUGE fan of American Idol, Nashville Star, So You Think You Can Dance, ROCKSTAR and Hells Kitchen

80's movie fan here too!

I'm a complete dork and REFUSE to act my age...EVER! LMAO!

I loved MST3K (it was 3000, by the way), although not enough to see the movie.

I'm a little embarrassed by how many things on other people's lists I like and am NOT embarrassed about!!
