Yeah, after last week I have decided not to order any more bars. And if I am craving something dessert-like I can always have the chocolate pudding. The pudding does not trigger me like the bars do, and it's less cals and carbs. :D

I'm happy I got myself back on plan so quickly. One thing I have realized is that my body doesn't want the garbage that I might eat off plan. I actually prefer the MF food more than any of the junk out there.

I love the portability of the bars (I always have one in my handbag), but I've found that they are an item that I gravitate to when I want to binge. It is a relatively low cal binge, but nevertheless it is a 'binge' when I'm eating one after the other just to fill a mental need. So, this month I didn't order any of them. I don't know if I'll need to stay away from ordering them completely, or if I just needed to distance myself from them (still have quite a few boxes up in the cupboard--quite a few).

Good for you for realizing that you aren't 100% trustworthy with them and taking a step back from ordering them right now. Glad you were able to get yourself back on program.

4 days back on plan since my little visit to bar-binge land. Feeling good overall, but I do have some concerns when I begin working out. This morning I felt very faint before my first MF meal and worry that this might pose a problem when I begin working out. In the past, I preferred to work out first thing in the morning before eating, but on MF I might have to have a pre-workout shake. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, and am very excited to start working out next week. :D

You two are very sweet. Thank you. That was taken 2 years ago when I was at my normal weight. I'm using it as inspiration. I look forward to getting back there and will definitely post some before and after pics once I make a bit more progress. :D

I had to stop ordering bars months ago. Many people can handle them but I can't! Maybe I would have gotten more control or the trigger-factor would have gone away-but it was not worth it to me. I had too much weight to lose and wasn't playing.

Bars were one of my mainstays, LISA, but then I was a slow-poke loser, too!
WTG! You're doing great...

Still on track...whoooohooo! I weighed myself today and was a little disappointed to have only lost 4.5 pounds since my last weigh in. BUT I did not weigh myself post-binge which I'm sure raised my weight a bit. So I probably lost a bit more than 4.5. Just talking to myself here in order to stay positive.

Here is my goal. It might seem a bit lofty to some, but for me it is better to set my goal high so that I push myself to do my absolute best to attain it.

My goal is to lose 20 pounds a month and have this weight off in 8 months. I may or may not attain it, but I *know* that it is possible and that it has been done before. So, why not go for it?

In order to help achieve this goal:

1. I will begin exercising (cardio and weight training) at the end of next week which will help boost my metabolism.

2. I still have some bars left and will limit them to 1/week if I so desire. The ones I have left I do not care for very much, so I am not tempted to binge on them.

3. I will continue to choose lower carb options for my MF supplements and L&G's.

So, the only thing new that I will be adding to my regimen is exercise which I am VERY excited about starting. 2 years ago I was running 6 miles/day and I would really like to get back to that level of conditioning.
