Well everybody, I know I've been away, but hopefully not forgotten. I'm still lingering around trying to find myself amongst all that I let slide during my weight loss. But........I am trying to come back a little at a time. Here are some pictures I had promised back some time ago.....

This is me August 22nd on the day of my last doctor's appointment.

Here is me and my favorite nurse Natasha. She actually cried with me on the phone the day I found out my insurance covered the surgery



Dear sweet Danielle.......just a doll and so enthusiastic for me.



And finally......me headed off to court on August 15, 2005. The jacket on my new suit is a little big......I'm having a hard time getting tops and bottoms that fit right if they come together. MUST find a good seamstress



I'm having a bit more cut off of my hair this week and I'll post a picture of my new sassy hair cut after that.

Christi - thanks for coming back and giving us a peek - your boys are so handsome! And you, dear one, are incredibly beautiful. Unless you are hiding something else under that little shirt, I'd say the 140's suit you just fine. Don't drive yourself crazy to get to 135. I understand wanting to meet a goal, but perhaps 140 is the perfect weight for you. I'm guessing that's probably well within the healthy weight range for your height. Take good care of yourself and stop in when your schedule allows. I, too, spend more of my work day than I should on the forum - thank goodness I'm the boss .

I'm sitting here having my oatmeal and a screaming headache because it is day 1 for me again This morning I weighed 144 and while 140 may be my "ideal weight"...144 most definitely is NOT!! I do have to decide where 135-140 fits into my body now. I just know that I don't feel as comfortable as I did 4lbs ago and I'm feeling really bloated. NOW..TOM should begin tomorrow and I'm hoping that is a bit...but I HONESTLY know that it has been my HORRIBLE eating the past few weeks that has made me bounce from 140-143. It was seeing 144 this morning that made me say ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I will NOT go back to my old ways....so....I'm going to work towards my 135 goal and see how I feel at 140. I think 140 is a great weight for me...I just think I would feel a little better with 5 lbs of "gimme" weight if you know what I mean.

At any rate...I've decided to allow myself a little forum time during lunch from now on so I can keep up with all of you....and I know that it is with your support and encouragement that I will succeed. I'll send another picture once I get my hair cut the way I want it...it's still a little fluffy lol

Your medical staff must be really pleased to have had such an important part in your life and success story. There is a lot involved in helping a person reach optimal health - we are more than physical beings and we need to have the inside of us worked on as well as the outside. I am happy for you.

Thanks Nancy........it's good to be back. I never left in my heart and in my mind.......I just had to give my fingers a break for a bit

Speaking of medical staff......I HAVE asked what it would cost to "send the girls back home "?? My doctor said "WHAT?"" lol I simply told her "the girls have been on vacation for a long time laying around on the beach 'my belly' and it's time for them to 'go back home'" hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe You know.......head back home......go back where they belong........STAND UP and be counted hehehehehehehehehehe I hope you all get a laugh out of this because it tickles me writing it hehe But I AM serious about wanting a little "lift" That will be some time in my future.........and friends that isn't vanity it's reality! lmao
