Thanks for the text, OC! You KNOW I was fixin to hunt you down :) I'm glad to hear you're still OP!! I hope unca resolves yer password issue fast so that you can come out and play with us again soon!

Now, get this, I was reading a journal a moment ago (gosh, ooo something or other - - I need to figure her name out :) ) and I was insipred to get off my rear and go to the treadmill! I gotta go do that before my nap inspiration overcomes the workout inspiration - - you know how easily that can happen.

I do despise a good work out -- and even a bad one. I so wish I knew how to change that about me!!!

TTFN!

Love & Hugs!

yup, unca fixed me up. At first when i tried even using the new PW, it still would not let me in. since i was both frustrated and in a rush, i gave up and figured i would take care of it sometime this weekend. So here we are at today, i entered the changed pw, then that little verification series of letters/nums and voila! i am back again. thanks unca!

I so wanted to be here last sunday to tell on myself lol! i shared with susieQ that i had a minor slip up @ the brazilian restaurant, 2 small cottonball sized bread balls and a spoonful of rice. So ok, it didn't seem THAT bad to me but it was enough to knock my ketostick reading from mauve back down to tan. WHAAATTTT?? jeez those things are sensitive. Either way, i immediately jumped back OP on Sunday and have been compliant ever since. Ketosis has kicked in again, i am feeling great and this week's weight loss should be a great one for me. Still waiting my step through the gates of Onderland. It's funny how this is all such a mental game, like weighing 199.9 is the greatest achievement in the world, anything but seeing 200 on the scale, even if it is only a few ounces :-P . I will definitely be here tomorrow for sunday roll call. i hope everyone has had a great week. Unfortunately, i haven't had the time to visit other journals yet.

@ susieQ, thanks for subtly passing along the info that i was still OP :D

@ katieboo ~ is it cold enuff for ya? LMAO. R u kidding me, this NJ cold weather has me dreading the errands i have to run. On the otherhand, it shows me where the energy loss spots are in my house. Certain areas are sooo drafty. UGH, just another thing to have to address. maybe i will just take the easy way out and wait till the weather breaks, then i won't feel it lol!

Whats going on Erica,

Is it cold enough for you. I am freezing my petunias off. How is your weekend going? Mine is going pretty good. My furnace has not shut off in 3 days, I am going through so much oil right now. So happy the you are back in ketosis. Isn't it a great feeling when you are in the zone.

Well hope you have a great day.

I woke up feeling GREAT this morning, knowing that it was time for roll call today. I knew i was having a great COMPLIANT week. It was a HUGE week for me, i think the most i ever lost in one week on MF. I am down 10.4 lbs for the week!!!! Yay Me! HOWEVER, this comes with a big BUT...

BUT it is only a total loss of 13.4 lbs in the last 28 days. Don't get me wrong, i realize that is an accomplishment (almost .5 lbs per day). Although i can be ecstatic about my loss for the week, science and common sense tells me to expect a MUCH lower number this coming week. So far, my losses (and gains  ) are as follows:

wk 1 -8.5
wk 2 +3.4 (after an 8 lb loss you would think i would have been able to stay compliant!)
wk 3 +2.1 (this was after my brazilian restaurant night which, prior to that nite i was down 3.6 lbs (had been compliant all week) so i knew a lot of this was water weight and would come off fairly easily if i was compliant the following week. I mean HOW THE HECK DO YOU GAIN 5.7 LBS OVERNIGHT?????? )

wk 4 -10.4 (i was right, the minor slip up that showed a MAJOR weight gain came right back off, with compliance

I am now entering week 5 and pray for the mental ability to remain compliant.

Katie, i know what you mean, i can only imagine what my gas bill is going to look like for the month. Hey, do you think that in all this cold our metabolism is raised with our bodies trying to stay warm??? Wishful thinking at least lol!

Joy, thanks for poppin in! I hope you have a great week too!

Well i guess that's all folks. I don't have anything hot and juicy to report. I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL week!

I am still doing the happy dance! lol However, this week i haven't been hungry which means it's probably gonna be a slow week for me. I woke up this morning weighing .1 more. I'm not worried about it too much because there is lots of week left but at the same time it is always motivating to see the scale drop daily.

For 2 days i have been struggling to get all my meals in. I have not really had an appetite. My water intake was down today too. I definitely have to get back on track. It's been difficult even to force my last 2 shakes down at night. I forget to eat then i have to squish 2 supplements in between 9 and 11. I know it's not good but i also know i need those extra calories, i don't want my body to go into starvation mode. It's crazy to think that you look forward to feeling hungry, but i do. Then, of course, when i feel the hunger, it's another game to fight off temptations. Jeez, i just want to feel normal, to be able to lose weight and maintain it, why does it have to be such a mental and physical struggle at times? I DO HAVE CONTROL, I CAN DO THIS WITH EASE, I DON'T HAVE TO STRUGGLE WITH WEIGHT ANY LONGER! In making this my mantra, it doesn't matter whether i am trying to lose or maintain, it applies. The closer i move towards my goal, the stronger the positivity of my statements. ounce by ounce, if need be...

Have a great night everyone!!!

well, TOM is here and that's usually not a good sign on the scale for me. :x I was wondering why the scale was creeping UP but i wasn't going to let it bother me because i knew i wasn't cheating. i was attributing it to regular old sandbox issues. it's funny because normally at this time, i either stall or slow down but i don't think i EVER gained weight with TOM during MF. Well the hungries kicked in but i don't think the "theory" is going to apply here... :( I guess i just have to wait to see what Sunday's scale reading says. So far i am +1.3 lbs uh, YUCK!!!!!! I'm staying on top of my water, hoping it helps get rid of the water weight so the scale can show even a slight drop. Image
