Hey Lady -

At the rate you are going you will be able to claim your new quilt as a goal gift to yourself!!! Everything is coming along nicey.

Are you going to join our "Loser" contest? It is gonna be so much fun!!

I started some exercise yesterday - just some "step push-ups" (on my knees with my hands on a step), some crunches and I used a piece of firewood to work out my upper arms - hey whatever works right?

You are on FIRE and nothing can stop ya now!! Keep up the GREAT work.

Just checking in on ya Erica -- how are things going? Are you going to join our "Such a Loser" contest to try to win part of the money in the pot? Check out the details in the weight room! You are so on fire you might just win the whole pot.

I would also like to report that I, too, did my exercises last night and this morning. Being able to move a little sure does feel good.

DAY 104

Hi guys...I just wanted to check in and let everyone know i am still around. Work has had me bogged down ALL this week. No time for posting and i haven't even had much time to try to keep up with all of your posts on the forum. I always like to at least pop in and say hi to everybody and see what is going on and how everyone is doing. *sigh* no such luck this week. I am staying OP, although i had a major knock down, drag out fight with myself on Thursday. There was a guy at my job that was retiring after 32 years. We had a MAJOR brunch for him which included these DELICIOUS pecan sticky buns (hot outta the oven, i might add). I only know that they are DELICIOUS because i have had them on several occasions before. YUMMY! Anyhoo, this time, it took a whole lot of resistance to let them stay where they were. I even had to enlist someone to eat one FOR me. Jeez, the things we put ourselves through. I won that battle and left with my peace of mind. The scale has not been very kind to me this week. Although i had a large drop last week and continued to drop in the beginning of this week, my body picked the weight back up to plop me right back where i was last Sunday. Actually, i am .1 under last sunday. Either way, it's still real close and i know it's because i haven't had the chance to call on my scale fairy this week. I just wanted to quickly update what was going on with me. Thanks for all of you that posted, pm'd, emailed or called. Now i am off to see what has been going on with the rest of you!

YAY! Way to go defying the sticky buns!

Hope you're over the sickies!

You're not the only one! The scale fairy has been ignoring me too! As I have my leg chained to the scale, I have been weighing every day, but nothing to report!!!!!!!!!!

Have a GREAT weekend!

DAY 105

Well, this week has brought me a GAIN of .4 :x :x :x I can't really complain too much because i knew that last week was a big week, with the help of tummy issues. My body is trying to get back to normal. I can only assume that the huge variations in caloric intake had soething to do with the gain. I will not fret, i will remain compliant and will pick up with the losses again next week. I'm just glad that the gain wasn't big enough to push outta onederland or the 40# club. Although i am not satisfied with my results this week, there is also no one to be mad at, not even myself. So i keep it movin...right on to the next loss! Have a good day everyone! Remember, only indulge in the compliant superbowl snick-snacks! If you are going to someone else's house for the game, take your own, just in case!

DAY 109

You have GOT to be friggin kidding me! How do i resist the sticky bun last week that was sitting in my face, FREE OF CHARGE...Then i take a trip to Wawa on Tuesday and buy a cinnamon roll (HUGE, i might add)? ARE YOU SERIOUS???? Wasn't i just the one saying that i had come too far to turn back now? Uh, aren't i the one trying to discourage the off plan eating? Aren't i such a hypocrite right now? Jeez, I am disappointed in myself. I thought i had a control over the emotional eating but i can't even necessarily say that it was emotions that caused my slip up. It actually was a few days in the making and i allowed everything to take over and it hasn't been the same since. The past couple of weeks have been stressful for me but i have gotten thru them with no eating problems. I found that over the weekend, i was experiencing a lot of hunger. I was able to always get myself thru it but it was becoming hard. On monday, the sugar cravngs came outta no where. I now realize that i really hadn't been getting my water in. I normally was getting in a minimum of 1 gallon of water daily. When i finally thought about it, i had dropped to about 32 oz daily. Therefore "thirst" could be what my body was reading as "hunger". Well i was in wawa buying my son somethig and before i knew it, i had that cinnamon roll in the bag. I got into the car and began to eat it. Although i was disappointed in myself for this indulgence, it really was good, but not as good as that cinnamon bun from work would have been. Anyhoo, i had been wondering why my weight was steadily going up, i now see that i was holding on to water because of the LACK of water. How crazy am i? I know all of this stuff yet, i blantantly disregarded all that i have learned. I was already disgusted about my .4lb gain as of last sunday (and i had been compliant then). now this sunday is looking even worse. How does a million calorie cinnamon roll cause you to gain almost 2lbs? (actually 1.2lbs, but still) Yeah, yeah i know the answer but as of today, sitting at 201, which takes me outta the 40#club AND onederland! WHAT AM I? CRAZY? Apparently, Yes. It is now my personal goal to get back to ME. I WILL be back in the 40# club AND onederland by Sunday. THAT is not an option.

Girl,

Proud of you getting back on program. You know what you want. In my honest opinion eating to me is like a disease . My mind is not programmed yet. It will be one day, Take it one day at a time, You know what you want, and you will do it. We will do it together.
