which one of the 7 of us that posted? :roflmao:

Please take all the offense you would like but I couldn't see how he could be talking about anyone but Brenda although that Oscar-worthy speech you posted might qualify you too.. On the other hand, I have been diagnosed with several mood disorders and all of you are so crazy you scare me. Is it medication time yet?

rodeomom wrote:Hey there Erica -- we all talk so much about negative self-talk on MMT so I was happy to see that you are starting to have starting some positive self-talk. Good for you!!!! Do you have a pedometer? You might be suprised at all the exercise to add to your day just doing little things like parking in the "north 40" of the parking lots. I just got a handicap placard for my car, but I only plan on using it while I am one legged if ya know what I mean.

Anyway, I am proud of you!!! Also, I send out your quilt fabric sample. I put it in the mail yesterday so it went out today. Let me know what you think. I can't wait to get started on that.

Blessings

Thanks brenda. I have plenty of positive self talk, thats what gets me thru this thing. The negative self talk hinders me. Do i get discouraged at times? Of course, if the scale isn't moving but i turn it into a positive by reaffirming to myself that i KNOW this works. Yes, i have a pedometer, probably about 5 of them. I just don't wear them (why? i don't know!), that's why i was left to count. Oh well. It really wasn't that bad, it gave my mind something else to focus on besides the cold. I am waiting to see the fabric samples! Nothing yet. I figure it will be here by tomorrow. Thanks!

Hi science guy! :)

But I really do think he was talking about you. Really. Oh, and I am going to wait and take my pills later tonight. I think I took them at 6pm last night I was so tired and was up at 4am. So I am going to wait a while.

I'm the same way! At least count, I had FOUR pedometers! How many do I wear? NONE! One more thing I have to get in the habit of!

Ya'll just wait until I get this cast off and can actually move again. I'll join this little club o yours and kick ya all in the behind!

Really, though, I can't wait until I can start MOVING again. I found myself getting all hyped up reading Chy's post up there. If this keeps up ya'll are going just pass me right up while I sit here in the club I have been in for quite some time now.

Hey, Thanks Biki! I gotta tell you I read this too fast the first time I took it the opposite way, like I was the only one that wouldn't have been included. No worries though, I slowed down and read it again and realized that you were giving me a compliment. Thanks!

DAY 89

whew! THIS has been the week from HELL (bell's, that is) i have not had much time to post but i have TRIED to keep up on what's going on here. Yes, ladies, although i have not written about it, i did get in 2 days of exercise this week (weds & thurs). I also have scheduled to meet my friend at the gym tomorrow morning. Weds and Thurs, i did my walking dvd even though i wanted to do something else, it was the most convenient, time-wise and still kept me compliant with my exercise group. I have only weighed twice this week and as usual, the weight has been fluctuating. Tuesday morning, my weight was 204.7, Weds 203.8 and this morning, 205. Who knows what the scale will say on Sunday. I have almost gotten to the point of not really being concerned. I know, maybe i should be but if i know that i am still doing everything right, why worry? Is this saying that exercise is slowing my weightloss a little? Possibly. However, when i was calculating my weightloss compared with fat/muscle % loss, i figured i needed to add in exercise.

With my tracking in FitDay, it is telling me that I am currently 33.25lbs above my highest point of a "HEALTHY" weight range (171.25lbs) for my height. So this tells me that in order to obtain that healthy weight range, i am past the halfway point. YAY! Even tho i still have about 50lbs more or so to lose to reach my personal goal it will feel great to actually be a healthy weight by general standards. I hope to be able to start posting more, it really helps. With everything that has been going on for the last 2 weeks, it just proves how much control i have gained over emotional, boredom, stress and over stimulation related eating. Does this mean that I have made MF eating a way of life? I don't know yet but it is working for now. The convenience of the meals has recently been a true blessing. Since it has been so thoughtless, it has relieved a lot of the "hmmm...what should i eat? is that a good choice?" type of stress. And we all know what ever little bit of stress avoided makes everything else that much better.

silly me! As i was posting in dede's journal, i just realized that my problem might be TOM! Maybe it's not the miniscule amount of exercise from this week. WHATEVER, MAN!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 18th, 2008, 11:33 pm

Wow! 1/2 way YAY!
You have already crossed from obese to overweight, onederland is quickly approaching...and you've gotten through stress with style and grace...it seems there are a few of us who are having an attack of the scale gremlins.

You're doing EVERYTHING right and your attitude is so great! Way to go on the exercise and TOM might DEFINITELY be the culprit, but the main point is don't let it get you down...keep posting for your mental health...you're doing everything SO RIGHT and doing SO well and I look forward to chasing you all the way to goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, since it is your journal (sorry I didn't catch up til now), and knowing (through the chain) that Bren is already an HC, and since Biki has alluded to the fact that she has not desire to be an HC, and since Kelly and Kym are our clients (and I wouldn't direct them to ask her their HC since that is us), then I guess one could think that I might be talking to Tawanda.... but I was actually talking about you (Crazy Ovary Chick), since it is your journal and all.
But given that there has been talk (by you) about having different personalities and all, I could see how things could get confusing....
