Hey, Ladies!

Just wanted everyone to know I talked to Erica today and she is fine. She has been very busy and says she'll visit us here soon.

I know folks are wondering/worried/concerned so I wanted to pass on what I knew.

I do think she may need a little support from us so let's fill her journal with uplifting, get yer butt back here, posts so she'll have something when she returns - - hopefully tonight!

Awwww...thanks guys. Believe me, i have MISSED this place. Now, where do i start???

My life has been soooo hectic, it's a shame. I feel like i haven't had time to wipe my a$$, let alone anything else. Work has been driving me crazy (Science guy, your idea has been looking better and better!). Then i am getting work done in my house so everything is in SHAMBLES! You know when your house is in disarray life seems even more complicated??? Anyhoo, MF took a back seat for a minute. I am not here to whine, just make excuses :mrgreen:

. It started near the end of last week. It's my fault, i thought i had everything under control but then i realized how much i really didn't "have it". I have been running around so much and failed to prepare. Meaning, i was getting caught (seems like all the time) without medigrub and i would make not so good choices. First it started as little nibbles to get me past a hunger stage until i could get to my medigrub. Then it turned into a meal then another meal. I must admit, i tried to keep the meals fairly compliant, uh except for the slice of pizza and uh, except for the quarter of a turkey hoagie and a few other things thrown in there...2 oreos, 2 pepperidge farm chessman cookies, not enough water. No matter what, i was thrown outta ketosis and i felt it! I tried daily to get myself back on plan and it just wasn't working. Actually, it didn't really "click" until yesterday...thanks bud!!! You helped me MORE than u know. I was struggling, TRULY STRUGGLING. Positive self talk wasn't working, meditation wasn't working, NOTHING was working. A friend put things into perspective with a few little words and showed me the numbers of 2.4# JERK!!!

I had all intentions of coming back here, finding the time was the hard part. Holding myself accountable was the easy part. Anyway, needless to say, i hadn't been on the scale since last sunday's roll call (195.1) then i weighed this morning and i was 196.5. Gained 1.4#. Damage, yes, but nothing that i can't fix. So i was fully compliant Thursday and today, except for my water, i still have about 40 oz more to get in tonight. Tomorrow will be the 3rd day of compliance. I mean, hey, wasn't i the one who said that i had come too far to turn back now? I am now facing the right direction again. Life hasn't slowed down, nor do i see it slowing but i have to put things into perspective. I can remain fat and run the rat race or i can run the rat race as my THIN self. I choose the latter. Thanks for caring guys!!! how wonderful was THAT? When i got the call this morning i was sooooo happy! We got about 3 inches, WHATEVER MAN! As long as it's enuff to close schools, i'm happy!
