Well, i woke up feeling WONDERFUL this morning...even before stepping on the scale. I am now down 2.5 for this week!!! WTH??? As i stated earlier in the journal, i didn't remain compliant on thanksgiving but i didn't over-indulge, either. As of yesterday i had that .7lb gain and i drank about 3 million oz. of water (actually, 160oz) Good thing i like water! I was peeing so much, i thought i would be at goal this morning :D . I am on cloud 9 today, not only because of the weight loss, but just because. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that even though i wasn't completely OP over the holiday, i was easily able to jump right back into it. My weightloss had slowed during the past 2 weeks (.7 and .8 losses)and even tho i knew i was going to jump right back on plan after TG, i HATED the thought of another slow week or even a gain. NOTE: i am not condoning nor recommending eating off plan but maybe thats what MY body needed...a little extra calories/carbs, to let it know that it was ok to let go of the weight, i was not starving. However, i must admit, with that extra food in my body, i was feeling bloated, tired, kinda lethargic. My weight loss could also simply be contributed to the "plateau stage" that i passed. Hopefully, i won't be hitting one of those anytime soon. So, i will still keep plugging along. I am 8.7 lbs away from the weight i was last time i stopped MF here on the forum (215lbs). I am looking forward to seeing that 215 come and go on my journey to onderland! I will be measuring myself Dec. 1st to see how many inches lost so far.

Wow, i am just realizing that i read thru all the other posts every day, post elsewhere and then i don't have time to post in my own journal. I haven't really needed to vent much, i have remained compliant, etc. But OH YEAH, even though i am a daily weigher, i didn't weigh myself on Tuesday. I felt FAT for some reason or should i say i felt fatter when i got up in the morning...so i skipped the scale. But i weighed myself on Wednesday and was actually pleasantly surprised, 223!!. In skipping my Tuesday weigh-in, i felt that i had cheated myself. i wasnt able to enter my weight on ALL of the software that i use (fitday, support in motion, extrapounds). Wow, how many different places do i need to go to track my weight????? Either way, i woke up again this morning, with a lot of those fat feelings but decided that i was not going to skip the scale. 222.6. Woohoo! What a way to start my day. i know that the two weeks that my weight loss was sooo slow, it was almost depressing to step on the scale KNOWING that it was going to increase. I think i could have dealt better with remaining the same over the increases. I am sooo glad that the scale is moving again. Hope i don't see a plateau for a looong time coming.

OvaryChick, I'm so glad the scale is moving for you again!! It's a great feeling, no??

I'm a scale whore, myself. I weigh EVERY SINGLE MORNING.....I also weigh at night before I go to bed - lol. I'm a freak, I know - :roflmao: - but I can typically tell by my night weight roughly what I'll be in the morning. The other day when I lost 1.2 pounds, for example, I went to bed weighing less than I had that morning. I never ever ever claimed to be normal - - but I am, indeed, missing part of my brain so whaddaya expect?

I used to be so scale obsessed and such a poor sleeper that I would weigh myself three or four times during the night. It actually was kind of cool to watch it go down all night each time! It is a sickness but I can relate. And sometimes I would be thirsty but would only allow myself a sip of water so I could have my best reading when Im finally got up for the morning.

Are you kidding me? Weigh myself at night? After drinking over 100 oz of water a day? I couldn't do it. I am not that much of a masochist! If i did that, i would probably wake up in the morning having a twinkie for breakfast with a mcdonalds shake to wash it down. But yes, i am glad that the scale is moving again. I knew it would happen eventually, i just had to hang in there.

You are tooo funny! I don't know if i could put myself thru all that torture. I struggle enough with weighing every morning and feel like i am cheating myself if i skip a day.

kym, charity, c, biks, thanks for stoppin in and supporting me. You guys all keep me going. Guys, just to let you know, i have a competitive spirit by nature so if you see me comparing myself to you (hehehe kym!), it's all out of love and my self-motivation. I am using whatever tactics it's gonna take to get me there! Oh, and charity, you try to up the bar and go 6-0? How dare you!! Dang it, no L&G for me! I'm gonna have to raise my own bar now! Only kidding. I am in a happy place, even when the scale was stuck, i knew it had to move again at SOME TIME! Thanks again guys. But charity, i'm watching you! Kym, i'm watching your dust! C, i REFUSE to wait for you to catch up to me but i'm throwing the rope out to keep us connected! Biks, what can i say...you are WAAAAY too far ahead for me to even see right now but i'm coming for you too!

Ok, this morning was a good weigh in, i'm actually down 2.2 so far this week. Fitday is telling me that i have lost an average of 3.24 lbs per week and says that my projected 4 week is 209 on 12/29/07. I love it! I recently started using fit day and still haven't gotten all of the MF info in there to completely use it to log my meals so i am still using supportinmotion too. I had previously been eating my L&G at work for lunch (well, around 1 or 1:30). Yesterday, i decided that there weren't too many healthy choices there so i had some celery and a bar. Well let me tell you, I was SO HUNGRY yesterday. As soon as i got home, i downed a shake. I actually wanted something more substantial (like another bar) but i knew that was not an option. I had to wait for that shake to hit my stomach and disperse itself. Whew, i made it but had to munch on about a tbls of roasted soy nuts. I don't know whether these are OP or not but it was all i could do to keep myself in line. I checked the nutrition facts and it didnt seem as though it would throw me out of ketosis or add too much of anything (carbs, etc) so i went for it. Of course, i had to try to flush everything out with water. NOTE TO SELF: keep eating your L&G at work!! At one point, i was having trouble fitting all of my meals in eating the L&G early but it seems as though if i save it for later, i need more. Everything is trial and error. I know it's my body going through phases because there are some days when i do a full fast and STILL have trouble squeezing in all 6 meals. I guess i just have to try and feed the hunger as necessary. OH WELL!
