AND the real # 1 reason....so when you reach goal you march up to nosey and say....

OC....So how much weight have you lost?

Nosey Chic: Uhhh  I uhh am not on any plan, why? does it look like I have lost?

OC NO! I was hoping you would take the hint honey and trim some fat!
Discipline is the art of choosing between what you want now, and what you want the most.

Best of luck at putting that number behind you! I can't tell you when to weigh-it's up to you, but being so close, I would need to hop on that scale before next Sunday. Remember, we are still compliant even if we have slightly dysfunctional relationships with our scales.

Isn't it WONDERFUL that the realationship we have with the scale isn't part of compliance? Man I'd be so screwed, lol!

CONGRATS on your loss this week and on looking 215 in the face! That number will be HISTORY soooooo fast! By next roll call you will be WAY beyond that number - good for you!!!

Congrats on beating your scale obsession this week!

i wanted to take a page outta OWTO's book and kinda spell things out for myself again. I had done it before but i cant find it in my journal now so i must have done it somewhere else.

w1 -5.8
w2 -6.5
w3 -.7
w4 -.8
w5 -2.5
w6 -3.4
w7 -2.8
w8 -2.8

all this adds up to my 25.3lb loss entering week 9 OP. Oh yeah, that's right, i am now part of my 25# club. :woohoo: Fitday tells me that i have lost an average of 3.22lbs per week and my projected 4 week weight (1/13/2008) is 202. Hopefully, i will definitely be in onderland by the end of January. Stalls, stalls, stay away!

WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO Congrats on the 25# club girl!!! ROCK ON! I really am impressed with your power over the scae this week. I'm not sure I even want to attempt to copy that. Although, when I add in work outs maybe I should stay away from the daily weighs. I'll prolly still be the same scale Ho I am today though, just can't help myself. Plus, I do honestly think its a good long term habit to have - - yeah, kinda like the work outs I keep putting off. LOL

Congrats on hitting the 25 pound mark...it sure doesn't look like I'll catch up to you anytime soon!! Then again I am still predicting a large drop in weight the week I go to Vegas...so you still have to watch your back.

DAY 57

Wow, i can not believe that i woke up this morning and was down 1.7lbs from yesterday. I don't know quite how it happened (no extra special trips to the bathroom or anything) but i will take it. Today has been a good day for me so far. Work is extremely busy since Friday will be our last day until January 2nd. I am even starting to bring work home with me AGAIN. I usually try to avoid this as much as possible. I try to stick to "work is work" and "home is home". Unfortunately, it doesn't always work like that. I just can't wait for the Christmas break, i definitely need it. My son is leaving on Christmas night to go to Las Vegas with his paternal grandmother. She has invited me to go too but i just have sooo much to do and i really need that free week to complete everything so i think i might have to pass. On the other hand, i have never been to Vegas and the opportunity to go for approx. $100.00 doesn't come by too often (her niece works for an airline and is going to get me a "buddy" pass. I could also use the vacation right now, i haven't been anywhere since July! Oh well, enuff of my whining, i'm just trying to sort things out in my head.

Vegas is awesome if you like to shop and gamble. And it is also great for 24 hour a day people-watching. That's free. But I understand if you have to pass because of work....

morning Erica! My daughter Erika and her husband came back from Vegas last weekend. She said they had a FABBBBULOUS time. They saw comedian George Wallace and The Blue Men...said she took pics with the Blue Men. They did a little gambling too of course..lol! However, priorities FIRST in your case.

Have a great day!

hi there chy...i would LOVE to see the Blue Men Group live. I've only seen them on TV. I am really leaning against the vegas trip for now...no matter HOW much i would really LOVE to go. Still have a few days to decide tho so who knows.

You absolutely have to. There is nothing like theshow... ya gotta do it at least once. And just be careful that you don't leave with any extra TP.
