You are by far the most encouragingly enthusiatic poster I've watched here! I dig your signature posting style. I truly think that you are SUCH and effective communicator that if an illiterate person were to "read" your posts they would understand completely because of all the visual cues.

It's like " .....HAPPY..... .....CONCERNED .........ENCOURAGING.... SMILE...........LAUGHING.........HAPPY AGAIN!"

The best compliment anyone could EVER give me is to say that something I said made them think I love that! Thank you! I don't care about changing opinions or influencing ideals, I just like challenging them. One of the best things I've ever learned was the value of challenging ideas...that without questions there is no "faith." It's in the absence of empirical facts and proof where faith lives...with all the questions and options and pathways and points of view. If you just believe something because it was taught to you and that's that, no questions asked, I don't believe that is faith. That's programming. There's no such thing as a "leap of knowledge" right? it's a "leap of faith" because people can't always KNOW...that's why I sound hippocritical a lot, or at least contradictory, because I may know there's only one answer but I have faith that there are a million others waiting to be found.

It's funny seeing that name because my name's Melissa (Big surprise My mom didn't name me Toxsiq ) and I was always "Missy" growing up and one day it just...stopped. All of a sudden without my knowledge or consent I was "Melissa"... I secretly love when people slip up and call me Missy. I used to hate the name because there were three families in the neighborhood all with dogs named Missy. Ugh...

ANYWAYS...I'm such the ramblin one today....MissyK, I think you are the perfect example that when people have an issue with weight it's usually because there's something else going on. I mean nobody here is less than intelligent, if eating less and exercising more were the only things to do in order to lose weight and keep it off we'd have all done it by now...

We all have other reasons I think.... I like how Missy wears her's on her sleeve. It's made me think harder about why I'm here...

(And no worries, you'd be surprised at how many people here actually give a $#!&. )

and lastly.... Me

I just want to report that I rocked that shaker yesterday and kept my eye on the prize and fought the good fight and all that jazz... I fit into a pair of jeans that I couldn't wear last week. LADIES and GENTLEMEN we all know how important that is... They're still huge size 28's but they didn't fit at all and now they do.

Now it's time to be a little self confident...everyone answer!!!

What movie star to you idolize?

Drew Barrymore because her weight fluctuates too but she's always confident and resilient. I dig it. And she can wear any hair color and look good. That's always a plus.

If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?

Traditional Chinese Kung Fu uniform and slippers....might as well be comfy...and ready to rumble

and lastly...how high are your heels???

5 inches baby! When you're 5'3" heels are your friend When you're 300+ lbs they are your worst nightmare.

Oprah Winfrey. She's the epitome of success. She's struggled a great deal with weight issues, but she never gave up. I feel I can relate, because I've tried about the same number of diets, only to gain back more. But now look at her. She's an inspiration.


If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?

My favorite abercrombie hoody and sweat pants with running shoes. I like to lounge and roll.


and lastly...how high are your heels???

I wear FLATS! Plus I'm only 5"2. The only time I'll wear heels is to dance, in which case 1.5 inches at MOST.

well Tox or shall I say Missy........ ............I don't know how this post slipped my eyes....... ........you amaze me with your fresh outlook and approach to things...... ......and thank you for the compliments..... .......I do love to color my posts with all my little emoticon buddies....... ......texting can be taken completly wrong at times so if I color them it can be a little clearer...... .....and also it may be the child within dying to be free to color.......... ..........and great for you for fitting into your jeans...... .....pretty soon you will be saying HEY I JUST BOUGHT A PAIR OF 18's..... ....and then it will be 14's...... .....and so on....... .....keep on rockin the shaker and your eye on the prize.......... ............
