Congratulations, Lisa!!! And don't be embarrassed. No hubby here, but believe me, I want to weigh less than my cousin's husband (basically my hubby-in-law).

Lisa ... This is super-fantastic news. I have never weighed less than my husband but I see that day fast approaching (just wish it were a little faster).

Way to go !!!!

My wife is afraid that if I reach my goal weight, I'll weigh less than her. She doesn't have nearly as much to lose as I do but with my success, she's a little worried that she's going to have to get busy real soon.

Keep it up !!!!

I'm SO happy for you. It's a fantastic emotional milestone! I know exactly what you mean, it's not embarassing at all! I remember the day while painting at my dad's house, I was going to put on a pair of his old pants to paint in and I didn't fit in them. I realized I was bigger than my dad and it CRUSHED me! I am now below my dad, and we'll both be in onederland soon!

Congrats!

Wow I've never been heavier than the men in my life, until now. That's one of the biggest things that bugs me too. :( It's not by too much but I'll be back down below my husband soon enough!

YOU KNOW WHAT?

I just realized that I did weigh 10 pounds MORE than my DH. (It was pretty embarrasing to not be able to wear his jackets, etc.)

Now I weigh almost 18 pounds LESS than he does! How motivating is that!

Thanks for reminding me of this milestone. Now I can make little remarks like maybe he should lose a little weight! :roflmao: But I'll go easy on him, because he has been my staunchest supporter, and I love him for that!

Good going all...we have more hills to climb, more stars to reach for! :star: :star: :star:

Congratulations! That's a great milestone, one that should be celebrated!

Don't be embarrassed - as you can see, many of us are in the same situation. I think I passed up my hubby within our first year of marriage. When I did Atkins a few years back, my hubby offered the incentive that, when I weighed less than him, he would take me to any restaraunt I wanted to go to, even if we had to take a trip to go to it (well, a reasonable trip, Paris probably would have been out of the question  ). When I started Medifasting, I told him that the restaurant deal was off, because I didn't want to go to a fancy restaurant to eat grilled chicken and steamed veggies, when I can do that quite well at home for a whole lot less money, thank you very much. So he decided to come up with something even better. I will find out what this better thing is sooner rather than later (especially if he keeps eating fish sticks and pringles), because I'm now less than 30 lbs away from that goal!

Please don't be embarrassed -- I weigh more than my hubby as well. :hmmm: I think I've weighed more than him since I was pregnant with my first child and she's almost 18 and will be starting college in the fall! And to top that off, he's at his heaviest and needs to lose weight too!

What a great goal that you set, and you achieved it! Way to Go!! Thin is within reach! :bravo:
