My husband came home with fresh pasta last night. it looked so lovely, but I had my L&G - shrimp scampi with tomato & basil salad.

Good for you! Scampi is delicious! Of course a little pasta is also nice but you can wait a while for that. It will still be there!

Do you mean where do I buy the shrimp? Or are you asking for the recipe?

It sounded so darn good I didn't even think about looking there....I was just wondering if you prepare it or buy it pre-packaged

I said if an 18 year old can give up the internet for the 40 days of Lent, I can stop cheating for that long as well.

So I am starting my own 40-day challenge to see if I can do it. That should take me right to April Fool's Day just in time for a weigh-in.

Anyone want to join my bandwagon?

YOU CAN TOTALLY DO IT!!! I am not Catholic either, but my godchildren are and they asked me to support them - they too are giving up pretty big stuff for little kids - the 11 year old surrendered her IPOD. So I am with you, I am doing 40 days no cheat and no General Hospital (hubby is so happy!).

Two days down! Yesterday was another close-miss. The soccer team was having pizza hut afterschool and they tried to talk me into a slice. I have been CRAVING pizza hut (well 2 weeks ago) but I declined. I also stayed complient at Marie Calendars (mmm chickena with veggies). It was the roomies birthday so I took him out for dinner complete with cherry pie. He keeps teasing that I need to eat a slice but he knows I won't.

This weekend will be my hardest. I have a modeling shoot Saturday. I'll take my needed supplies with me - I wonder how many weird faces or questions I'll get. I also plan on going to my grandmother's Sunday but have already planned on bringing a L&M along to eat.
Start date: 2-05-07

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
