Firefighters Rescue Heavyweight Corpse

BERLIN (Reuters) - German undertakers struggling to carry a 661-pound corpse from a third floor Hamburg apartment called in the fire brigade for help -- but they couldn't handle the job either and ordered an industrial crane.

"It took six men and several hours to complete the task," said Gerhard Bramfeld, spokesman for the Hamburg fire services. "Its not your everyday 'put out the fire' case."

May God bless us in our struggle.

This reminded me of a weird habit I have.

I love America's Most Wanted and whenever they describe a criminal they are looking for I think about how somebody would describe me - (before MF) - "She's tall, heavy set" or some other euphemism. "Her driver's license says 190 but that's not true - she must be at least 250" Stupid thing to think about but hey. ;)

I actually match the weight on my driver's license now!

Gerald, that poor poor soul. He probably never left his apartment - actually probably couldn't. No doubt he's happier in the after life. How so very sad that weight prevents people from living life. I'm much less of a recluse now. I really thank MF and all the people here.

That's so funny. I won't match the weight on my DL until I'm at goal. Guess they must have been saying "yeah right" at the DMV all these years...

When I get to goal ...they'll think I'm the skinniest liar out there...Cauz..I'll 133lbs. ( my goal weight)
