I take a prescription medicine for my acid reflux and heartburn but still need over the counter meds especially at night. I crunch a handful of Tums twice a day or so. I noticed I was really starting to enjoy my TUMS Assorted fruit tablets and not for the calcium! So I read the label. There is a gram of sugar per "serving" of two tablets (I was having 5 or 6) because sucrose is the number one inactive ingredient. I don't think I was consuming enough to kick me out of ketosis but the "hidden" sugar was annoying to discover. I had just assumed they used an artificial sweetener. I was kind of grossed out by the other ingredients anyway. The 4th one was TALC. I just had a visual of eating baby powder. No wonder they are so chalky.
