I knew it

Postby Kido » March 1st, 2006, 8:09 am

Would happen, I was hoping for later than sooner.

I am at a standstill. I am mentally, sort of, ready for it. I know my body is saying, "hold up woman you ain't tricking me any more." But soon I will win this fight and my body will behave.

I know it can be frustrating when the scale won't move :x How long has it really been though? when we weigh ourselves every day (notice I said "we") 3 days can seem like 3wks! We can't expect a loss every day or every other day. You are doing FANTASTIC!!! I know the scale will move for you soon! :D

Kido, happens to the best of us! Some weeks I'm at the same weight for days, then maybe up a pound, but when I look at my weight chart (I record on Wednesday) there's not a single week since starting Dec 28th that I haven't lost something. Sometimes it's just a fraction....I know that I cannot expect to lose another 9 lbs like I did the first week.

I admit I'm a slave to the scale, but I'm learning to use my clothes as a scale too. I've realized that even when I'm not losing daily somehow my body is still shrinking.

You are correct...if you keep eating right your body cannot help but respond!

Stay strong!

Hi Kido!!

I can relate to stalling.......it's frustrating for sure! I bounced up and down a pound for 2 weeks and it drove me nuts!

Like Nancy said, it's our bodies adjusting to the changes, but you already know that. You're doing great!

I upped my exercise and I am shocked at the inches coming off now. It just blows me away.

Hang in there and vent away! I did and it helped....

Thanks for all the support.

I am going to put the scales in one of my girls room until this weekend.

I am just going to concentrate like I did the first day. It doesn't happen over night, and if you keep it up you will have results.
