Maybe it's just me, but 'another day down, many to come' sounded a little down. I'm trying not to think of the long haul, because when I do I get the urge to rebel. How about just 'another day down,' end of sentence? Or maybe 'another day down, better days to come' or something like that?

I hope you weren't feeling down, it's just that comment sounded depressed somehow, so I wanted to say something. Because a positive attitude is our greatest ally in this.

I agree Nickie. I was typing that late last night. Tired and exhauseted after having Matthew home sick for 2 days. Now I have a ringing ear.... Not feeling to hot right now.

Sorry did not mean to sound dipressed. Heres to the future. :cleader:

Hi Katie, good for you for doing so well ! Hope day 4 is going strong ! I actually agree about the bars, espeically earlier on when getting into ketosis, but when I have the choice between a bar and something powdery, I almost always choose the bar ! Plus, they keep my choco monster's cravings under control :).

Hey karli girl.

I am exhausted.... Mentally and physically. They let go of one of our sales people in Jersey... I was so depressed all weekend and i ate. What is wrong with me. I am really focused during the first 5 days then the weekend hits and I am like not there. So Once again..............

I wish I had a happier post. :(

I certainly know what you're going through, Katie, but I don't know what to say in terms of advice. You've read my struggles, so you know I don't really have any answers anyway. Just keep trying. 5 days on and 2 days off is better than 7 days off, right? Maybe just tell youself you'll have 'weekends off' during this stressful time but try to stay low-carb?

I hear Jo shouting wherever she is - that stress will always be there and we have to learn new ways of dealing with it. That's certainly true, but we are very vulnerable when we're just starting out on the diet. If you'd been on for a month, you probably wouldn't have had a bad weekend. But you never know.

Just keep trying. Each day will bring you closer to the answer.

Day 3 doing better. have some munchie issues but I have no junk food in the house so i am doing ok. John and I went through every cabinet and ditched the junk. Usually for some reason I always start on Tuesday. And then by friday I cheat I forced myself to start on Monday. And hopefully by then I will be in the groove.

as for the biggest loser. I hate the black team. I like jillian but i can not stand athe rest of the players. Sione and felipe pissed me off last night. They are the heaviest and they still lose weight. That is why I just do not think it is fair. And RON on the blue team I can not stand.

I don't mind Sione but Filipe seems like a big baby. I get it, you bonded with Bob and everyone else is garbage. Get over it and grow up. I was so mad when he blamed his bad week on Jillian. Yeah, because her not working you out was why you gained weight. Couldn't have been the fried chicken and fries and alcohol. No, of course not. Idiot!!!

I don't know that I much like anybody on the show this year. No favorites. And yes, Ron needs to go. I didn't mind him at first but the way he just didn't even pretend that he might be the one to go home this week? Ego. Didn't work for me.

BL aside - congrats on getting the munchies out of the house. I hope starting a day sooner gets you past Friday on plan. You can do it!

Totally agree. I wish they went back to the way that it use to be. Single people not knowing anyone. They do not know each other and it really is about losing.

Feeling really good. Day 4 done. I was really hungry today. Drank a ton of water. Once again I ate 3 of the bars and it does not fill me up. But I needed something that taste like food.

Day 5 tomorrow. I am going to do it. I also think I am in Ketosis. I am going to check in the morning. that is the best time to check.

Well getting ready for bed I am exhausted.

Hi my daughter! How is day 5 going? You can do it sweetie :-P I love those NEW bars. I'll mix it up..a shake, bar, shake bar etc...and it seems to work! However, i DID srewup today at a luncheon..ate everything in site...NOT good(uggg)

So, i see you're into Facebook too!
I was telling Leigh when it comes to computers i am a TOTAL dummy..lol! Y'all will have to tell me how to use it...sounds fun!
