I love it when that happens! It helps if I am wearing one of my minimizer bras. I need a minimizer wardrobe.

So today I weighed in at 209.4 <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_75.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D36%252F36_1_75/image.gif"> to me.

I went off program last week and gained 5# back. Well I stepped on the scale this morning and i had a loss of 7.6# Loving life right now.

I also have to say 40# club please. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

So anyways on to the hard test... That was yesterday. One of my sons good friends (who is 8 ) is moving to Chicago in 2 weeks. Well I spoke to his mother and said let me have a little get together with him and some of his friends. So I had a total of 9 8 year old boys at my house yesterday from 3-8. They played outside practically the whole day. Then I ordered 4 pizzas. Then came in and ate and had chips pretzels pigs in a blanket (which is absolutely my favorite food).

So I told the parents to come around 7:45 and that they can bring there other kids because we were going to have ice cream cake. Well let me tell you. I was not planning on having a party at my house but I did. We ended up having 14 adults and 17 kids staying until about 12. They were drinking and eating (thank god I had enough beer) I usually dont drink that often But I always try to keep Beer in the house Because some of my sons friends parents come over and we just end up talking for hours.

Well I have to say my choice of food and drinks last night were great. A wonderful thick choc (medifast shake) and seltzer water. I have to admit in the beginning of the party I was a little jealous of not being able to drink. But I had a great time just watching over everyone. And did they all look to funny. Little Drunk.............................................

Well today is the first day that I am going to take a walk. Yes I am actually going to walk today. I am pretty excited about that.

Congratulations Katie on becoming part of the 40 pound club and for staying compliant. It sometimes can be hard when you are around all these foods - but it really is the company that makes the difference and afterwards you feel so great because you didn't veer from the program. Too cool Katie. You are so right - we are right around the same ticker weight. Stay in touch and keep on shaking. Have a great week!!

So today I feel fat. (tom) I am in a bleh mood, my sister called me today and we were chatting on the phone for awhile. Then she finally asked me how much weight I have lost. I told her to date I am down 42 #s. She wanted to know if I was going to do this program the whole way through. I said to her of course. Well she started getting nasty to me saying that I am probably not getting enough nutrients and that I should go off the program. I explained to her that I go see my doctor monthy. (I am not on the 5/1 program) I am on the complete program. But being watched by doctor. I tried to explain to my sister that the Doctor said I am getting more nutrients then the regular person. Well let me tell you Did the s*** hit the fan. She said that I need to goto a new doctor. That there is no possible way that this is healthy. That she is going to tell My Dad (I am 34) And the funny thing is my stepmom is on the same program as I am and she has lost 30#. Why wont she just leave me alone.

In a earlier post I wrote that my sister is skinny, and she has been that way all her life B****. I wish she could just be happy for me. Why is that so hard. I am trying to Lose this weight so I can be healthy, and she just does not understand. Days like today I really miss my mom. She would have understood everything. The biggest reason I am doing the complete plan is because last time when I was on program it was very hard to be around food. I have been cooking my whole life. I miss cooking in the restaurants. You know what is really funny, I was 70# lighter. I just never ate that much because I saw the same food everyday when working in the hotels and restaurants.

If anyone out there is on the complete program, do you get any negativity. And now my mind keeps thinking is it okay to lose 4# a week, I love losing the amount that I am losing. But do you think it is okay. When I am focused on Medifast I am 100% compliant. I do not eat the bars or the soups or the snacks I am 100% shakes. Is that okay.

Why am I second guessing myself. I am just a little upset. I just really wished my sister understood how hurtful it is. Thanks for letting me ramble.

Katie - you are doing a great job and do not second guess your decision. It was so strange to see your post because I had just posted in my journal how people are starting to notice my weight loss and are asking how I am doing it. I have told them what I am eating but have yet to reveal it's Medifast - and I think the reason for this is because I am afraid of the backlash - too strange that what you experienced is what I am afraid of and I am on the 5:1.

I don't know how long you have been overweight - but your sister may just be used to you a certain way and when you change they feel it will affect them in some way. The first time I lost a lot of weight 5 years ago - one of my sisters just started treating me like garbage. She too is overweight. I did not know why she was treating me this way but after a couple of months - I finally confronted her. She started to cry and said that she was now the fattest in the family and admitted she was jealous. Then a relative told another one of my sisters that someday I could be as little as she is (she has been skinny most of her life) and she replied that that would never happen - and she was actually upset about the comment. What is up with that??

You are doing what you need to do. Your doctor is monitoring you and you are doing a great job. Keep you eyes ahead of you and reach for your goal. Keep on shaking Katie!!! :D

Suzy, Thanks for the kind words, it is just so frustrating sometimes. I know I am doing the right thing, but sometimes I just feel like a Big Doo Doo head. (can you tell I have an 8 year old). I think from now on that I am not going to tell anyone what kind of program I am on, I just do no want to hear the negative comments.

I have been overweight almost my whole life. Right before I got married I lost a lot of weight about 80# I weighed about 150 and people were telling me that I looked sick. People that I knew very well. Do you think that they were just being mean or do you think they were saying that because I have been overweight my whole life and they were not use to seing me this way. Who knows. But you know what This is about me and nobody else. I am going to succeed. I want to be hot for my husband. I want to be able to run and play with my son, with out being out of breath.

As to my sister My words to her are <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_20_18.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D23%252F23_20_18/image.gif">

Katie, try to ignore your sister.....she sounds like she has a problem and is taking it out on you.

Come here, talk with us, keep your journal updated and we'll be the cheering sisters for you since she is unable, at this time, to be happy for you. The group of people that share in this forum are such 'mood boosters' and 'confidence lifters' that we cannot fail if we turn to them to help us continue on this program.

We're here for you!

Katie - I agree with Tawanda - just come here for all of your support. That's what I try to do. I know you guys have experienced some of the same things I have experienced. When I have a loss - I want to jump on the boards to tell you guys about it...I don't even tell my hubby...LOL!! I love hearing your comments and praises and we only know each other from the boards....but everybody here knows our struggle. We are here for you Katie.

Katie, besides my DH, ALL my support comes from here! I don't tell anyone what I'm doing just for the reasons of what you are going through. I don't want to have to answer a bunch of questions and I don't think its any of their business. I mix my shakes when I know no one is in the kitchen at work and at lunch when I have my soup, I just make sure the writing on the package doesn't show while I'm mixing. It just seems easier for me this way. Sorry it has to be your own sister that is so difficult, but hang in there girl...you have lots of supporters right here!
