Damn, that is sweet. Granted, I'll well up at a Hallmark commercial, but this one was a choker too!

Happy Mother's Day, Katie!

Hey everyone,

Been a little busy with work and all. But I am ashamed to say that I have been off program for a whole week. And Today I woke up really mad at myself. I mean real angry, saying why did you go off program, did it make you feel better. UH NO it did not. I woke up this morning with my mouth so dry that I could not get enough water in. And right now it is still dry. So I am back on plan today. I took a few asprin so I do not get a headache, also if it does not rain I am going to go for a walk/run. My whole body is sluggish right now.

But anywhoooooo I am not going to dwell on it, I am going to fix it. This week is going to be a very hectic week. My first big delivery week for the jersey shore.

I have decided that I am not going to add any snacks in the program this week. I am going to strictly do shakes and my 1 bar. I have also put a container of mouth wash in my car. I started that 2 weeks ago. About every 2 hours I use mouthwash. Hey it is worth a shot. But anyways my peeps Have a great weekend.

Hey CYD do not count me out yet. I will get that million dollars

Hey everyone. Start of day 2. Going good, just a terrible headache. Also had a huge meeting today about our budget for next year and my head is just spinning. Got 17000 steps yesterday. walked with my girlfriend. Originally I was not going to walk outside, because it was just terrible looking out. But the sun came out around 5 so my but got up off the couch and went walking.

Tomorrow will be day 3 and that is usually the day I start to feel better.

Well goto go. Have a great day everyone.

Hey, Katie.

Hang in there with the headaches . . . they should go away. Try something salty.

As for the walking -- take it easy until Day 22!! Cut what you were doing before starting in half. If you weren't walking, don't start until Day 22. Believe it or not, adding exercise right now can actually SABOTAGE your progress since you're lowering your calories.

Check the Quick Start Guide -- there should be a blurb about exercise in there. There's also the nurse's call tonight -- she can go over that with you. 5:30 Pacific, (646) 519-5860, PIN 0971# Or talk with your Health Coach.

Here's to your success!! :buddies:

Hey Di So even being off program for 1 week I should wait for 22 days. I do not want to over do it.

Thanks so much for visiting my journal, You have such a positive outlook for everyone. Mike is one lucky guy.

Yep! Basically, you're starting over. Even if it's a mini-start-over :D In fact, this came up in the nurse's call last week. (The recording is still available through the end of today -- and that number is. . . . (212) 461-2692)

Thanks, Katie! In this marriage, though, I'm definitely the spoiled one!!

Don't you worry, girl! I am counting on you to hold me to that million. :D Keep it up, Katie. Stop beating yourself up over being off plan for a week. I am a firm believer that if the program and/or life is getting difficult or weary, it can be good for some people to back away for a short while. I, for one, am not one of those people, because it so hard for me to get back with it, but I can see how it would be very beneficial for some people. Glad you're back and looking forward to racing you to 179.9!

Glad to hear you're back in the game! I feel for you going through those first few days, again. I did that a time or two after "straying" more than I should've. And those first few days are so rough I kept thinking "How could I have done this to myself"?!! Way to go with being back on and the good news is you're almost through the "hard part". I am thinking of you and I'll see you and Cyd cruise on past me to the 170s in no time! I've decided I will live vicariously through you both!

Hola Chica. I am here........ On program well kind of off program but maintaining. I hve to go out to dinner 3 times this week. 2 in Manhattan and 1 in NJ But I have not gained. Yeah. I have just been low carbing it. Having veggies and lean meats. I do incorporate morning shakes and afternnoon. and also have my bar ;) I would not give that up.

Also My friend who started a week ago decided it is not for HER. She wanted me to buy her stuff. I told her that MY husband would freak if I bought another 300 dollars worth. I told her I would post it here. But she wants to sell it all at once.

Katie -- she might be able to return it to the company. Suggest to her that she get ahold of her Health Coach if she has one and ask about it, or that she call a Customer Service Rep at Medifast Direct if she doesn't. Mike knows what the process is for Take Shape for Life (those working with a Health Coach), but we don't really deal with Medifast Direct.

Bottom line, it's about making good choices and getting healthy. The Medifast products are a tool to do that, but the bigger picture is Dr. Andersen's BeSlim philosophy and lifestyle. Sounds like you're getting that part down in making great choices and maintaining where you are! Go, you!!

Glad you checked in! :D With all of the eating out, if you're maintaining right now you are doing a terrific job! There may come a point in the summer (so many weddings, bridal showers, bachelorettes, engagement parties, etc. etc.) that I might shift for a while, too, to make it easier on myself and more practical. Right now I am gearing up for another month before the schedule gets hectic and then I will evaluate from there. With that said, we still need to hit the 170s together so try not to be gone too long or I'll be missing you terribly!
