Yup you guessed it, I went off program For about 2 weeks. Restarted again today. No slip ups. But boy did I want to eat. I had to keep telling myself. I cant cheat I have no bigger clothes. I gave them all to my friend. And my DH would shoot me if I told him I had to go to the store to buy new clothes.

I am pretty sore today. I restarted the Couch 2 5k. But I did it. And I just came back from a brisk walk with my girlfriend. (I need a massage ) On top of doing this all in one day Tom arrived 2 days early.

I am not going to weigh in this Sunday. My 10 year wedding anniversary is on Thursday, and on Saturday we are going to one of the best restaurants that I sell to. It is right on the hudson river across from Manhattan. The chef I sell to is so excited that I am coming in. He is putting me at his best table which is right on the water. He does know that I am on Medifast so he said he would work with the program.

Well anyways just wanted to say HELLO MY FRIENDS

That is really great that you can have a fabulous anniversary dinner and stay within the MF guidelines. We are not all so lucky! Remember you're there for your husband, not for fabulous food, right? (I know, easy for me to say - I need to practice what I preach!)

I've decided I need to get more gum. You've mentioned a few times how much it helps you in the early days trying to be compliant, and I need a boost!

Katie I am so glad you're back and I bought sugarless gum because of you too! You trendstarter! I've got skills. I can take my meds and still not swallow my gum!

I really tell you the gum thing works. I probably could of had 20 pieces yesterday. But here is a picture of my favorite gum. I could not find this for the longest time. This is the gum that I chewed 20 years ago. But finally I googled it on line and bought 5 Boxes of it. You know the boxes consist of 12 packs per box that have 10 pieces of gum in each pack. so lets do the math 12*10*5=600 pieces of gum. And I am down to my last box. My son also chews this gum.

The reason I love this gum is because it last forever and Makes the biggest bubbles ever (thats what my son says  ) And really you can not put any food in your mouth for at least 45 minutes. Because it still has that peppermint flavor

I know I am a doofus talking about gum but it has helped me a lot.

Katie, thank you for sharing about this gum. I chew a SF gum off and on (cannot remember the name of it right now) but the flavor doesn't last a long time....so this is intriguing. I'll have to look around to see if I can find it.

Thanks for the picture and the brand name. I'll google it, too. Although more than just the gum, I need the discipline to use it the way I intend to!

Hola Everyone.

Holding pretty strong. I have been compliant :D Which is huge for me. These past couple of weeks have been really hard. I have been going into a lot of restaurants trying to get my items on there fall menu. And every time I go in there they want to feed me. Does it say FEED ME on my forehead. But you know what when I was in the kitchen I probably did the same thing when sales reps came to visit it me.

Anyhoo, the couch 2 5k kicked my butt. But I did it. WOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be able to run  I know I am not running full force But I am doing it. This has been the most exercise I have had since before my wedding. Oh and by the way today is my 10 year wedding anniversary. John and I are going out to dinner on saturday. Can not wait. I took tomorrow off. I am going to go to Macy's and Get a dress. My husband is going to be really surprised. I never wear dresses. The last time I wore a dress, was my wedding dress. I love to wear skirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well anyways off to a busy day.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Congrats on getting back on track! I can not even imagine having to go in to restaurants all day long. You must have some amazing will power!

How fun...a dress! I don't wear dresses either. Skirts and boots, but nothing that shows my chubby knees! I have been eyeing a cute wrap style dress at Macy's though.

C25K!!! Yipee! I just couldn't do it, too much compression for my neck.

Have fun on your special evening this weekend. Post a photo of you and your hubby from the evening so we can see how great you look!

also forgot to mention. My son Matthew has lost 15.5# since July 28th. My husband and I are very proud of him. The little booger steals my Rtd's for snacks.(he thinks it is choc milk.)
