Hey Brenda and Leigh.

I know I am doing it for me in the long run. But I really do not want to look like a cow come July 4th. If you know what I mean.

Today was very very hard. I almost dived right into the animal crackers.... But I did not. I went out and got a medium iced coffee with toasted almond and cream. NO SUGAR... And that really hit the spot.

Tomorrow is my day 4. And I am going to rock it. Matthew and John are not home until late so I do not have to cook dinner. And friday John and Matthew are going to a Phillies game so I do not have to cook dinner that night either...... So that is really going to help with temptation. IF i dont cook I dont eat.

Sometimes I think if we could really make ourselves believe that we can eat whatever we want without judgement, things would be easier. That way, you could CHOOSE to eat MF and it would just be done, end of story. The instant I tell myself I can't have something, that's exactly what I want. Even if I didn't want it before, I'll want it after telling myself that.

I'm glad you'll have less temptations for a couple of days this week. Have a great day 4. :D

I solve the cooking thing with quick fix meals for Deanna. Not a lot of prep time to think about what I am not eating. I do have to admit that being on my own now, instead of living with my parents, has made being compliant easier. If I don't have bread or pasta or ice cream in the house then eating them is pretty much a non-issue.

Get through that first week buddy! You CAN do it! Once you see the results of compliance every day will get easier!

Maybe you can get some posters of fireworks and put them in places you see all the time. You will know what they represent, but nobody else will! Wear red, white and blue on days that you have to go through kitchens or play patriotic music. Those can be triggers to keep you motivated that are positive instead of negative!

Keep on going!! I'm with ya allll the way!

That's a really cool idea about the patriotic cues, Brenda. Neat!

Hey Katie-let me know how the teeth whitening thing works out! I have seen them at my local Sam's club, but I was afraid to try it. Thanks for your encouragement as well!

Wow it has been a long time since I have written in my own journal.. I have lost -1.8# this week. I am happy with that. Because my friend arrived 3 days ago.

I usually do the 6-0 but I have been doing the 5-1 a couple of times this week. It was really nice.

So does anyone know if snow peas are aloud. I LOVE THEM. It is one of my favorite foods. I can eat them raw all day long.

So guess what my husband and son did for me the other day. They knew I was having a bad day at work so they went out and got me a plant. And matthew wrote on the card, Thank you for being the best secretary ever. I cried and laughed at the same time. I asked Matthew where did he learn what a secretary is. He said at school. He said to his teacher. Isnt that the same thing my mom is to me. LOL. I love that kid.

Well anyways off to a awesome day.

I don't think snow peas are allowed, at least that's what my nutrition coach told me, after I had eaten my veggie allowance of them! I love them too. Your son sounds sweet, that was very cute and thoughtful. Good job with weight loss! Keep it up!

thanks leigh for thinking of me.

It is baseball season, and on top of that Matthew has been subbing in for the older team. He is such a awesome baseball player. Kids on the higher level can not believe how awesome he hits.

Have not been on Medifast, but watching what I eat and exercising. Lost 4#s I am okay with that.

How are you?

What up miss thing.

Have not really posted much in my own journal. I really do not have much to say about my own life. But I do have much to say about everyone else. HAHAHAHA.

It has been okay. Tried to quit coffee today. HA what a joke. I was okay for 2 hours. Then all of the sudden sleepiness occured and I was freezing. I think I am slowly going to ween my self of it. Mabye the afternoon I will switch to decaf.

The weather stinks here today. I am so ready for the summer. Sunday was absolutely gorgeous. Took my son and his friends to the pool. I look like a complete idiot. I did not spray the sun tan lotion all over. Now I look like a zebra. LOL

Well anyways off to call my chefs.
