I am doing great thanks for asking. It has been pretty busy at work. I have been great on program. Last night I wanted to cheat but didn't. It is weird usually I want to cheat on fridays. I do not know if it because it is friday, when I grew up friday night was pizza night. My husband was cooking some chicken burgers and it smelled wonderful. Not saying I could not have one because it is legal. But I am on the 6/0 So i just kept drinking my water and had a couple of pickles.

Today I am doing really well. I am going to get a pedicure in a few minutes. I am down 7 lbs since last sunday. I did not want to check in on my weight today because I lost those 7#'s in the first 3 days and have not lost anything since. Which hey I am fine with. I just do not want to get disappointed today.

But anyways my friends I will be back on later because I am not doing anything today, it is too cold out.

So, Katie, do you know how long you will do it as 6/0, given the choice and the ability?

wow i can not believe I have not been on here since saturday. It is my busy season. so i have my cell phone to my ear at all times. Last night I got a call from one of my french chefs at 11 pm. I did not awnser. So he kept calling back until I picked up. SO I am pretty tired. I have not beenon full plan but I am doing a 3 and 3 I know sounds weird. But I have been very busy going into my restaurants. But good thing is I am staying the same.

So what does everyone think of the Biggest Loser. ROBIN did you watch yet. I will not say anything until you say it is ok.

Oh, she watched it, and let fly in my journal. ;)

So 3&3 and maintaining is better than 0 and junk and gaining - plus I bet it helps keep you in a good mental place. So keep it up and I hope you make it through the busy season in one piece!

Katie, it is good to see an update from you. Maintaining during this time of year is much preferrable over gaining....do the best you can and be proud.

Maintaining during the holidays is GREAT. And sometimes you just need a break from the full program. Don't sweat it.

And yep, I watched. And ranted already. :)

Yes, it sounds great to avoid gaining through the holidays. I don't recall any time that's happened for me - I'm not usually trying hard like this at holiday time, for sure, and I don't remember a time I was on a "diet" during this time of year, either. I must be an "early-in-the-year" dieter. Always want to be on a diet after New Years, usually for good reason. This year, with no slippage, will be a blessing. Good luck with your 3/3.

It's funny. I know most people start after Jan. 1 (we usually get a big surge in new members here every January; sadly, most of them are gone a month or two later). But I've never started a weight-loss program at the beginning of the year. I started Medifast in, I think, March or April. I started my new program in July. Even way back when, I started Atkins in mid-February.

Hi Katie:

I'm glad that things are going well for you....losing some and then maintaining. I know what you mean about being busy and not coming to the boards as often as you'd like...I am resembling that right now. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.

I was just thinking a few days ago about how nice it will be for me not to start a 'diet program' the first of the year. I am guilty...I am one of those New Years resolution people who seems to starts diets. It will be nice this year to already be on the program and hopefully steadily losing.

Hey Leigh...I've done Body for Life before. The company I work for offered it to all employees....I did great on it for liek 6 weeks...then got sick....seems when I get sick I have a tendency to throw my diets out the window. I can still remember though the first couple of times I did lunges...and not being able to walk well at all for like a week...LOL!! That cheat day too was wonderul...it helped you stay focused.

Glad to hear Katie that you are doing well and that you even lost a pound. You go girl!! Did you watch Biggest Loser last night? Watching the one who was the cook...gosh I just had a brain fart...reminded me of you. I could not do what you do and still succeed. The more I am around food, little by little it seems to break me down.....I am not talking about food at home...I am talking about being at restaurants or at family parties, etc. It sucks..LOL!!

Hey Suzy Q.

Yeah it is very hard. I am in my restaurants more during the x -mas time. Tomorrow is going to be a disaster we are suppose to get 6 inches of snow. And tomorrow is one of my busiest delivery days. UGGGGG. So now I am probably going to have to be on call for Saturday.

Down another 1. So I am excited about that.

Hope everyone is well.
I will check in later.
