Sounds like you are rockin' with your determination. I have debated on just doing 6 supplements, but I really like the lean. :cleader:

Katie, pop that gum into your mouth while everyone is munching on those off program goodies that you are making. Did you buy any of the puffs? If you did, put those into a bowl and munch on them while everyone else is eating...and wash them down with lots of water. You are going to be in maintenance by next December, easily...You will be at your goal weight and so healthy that you'll be smiling every moment with how good you feel -- both mentally and physically. I'm so glad you are here!

January 5th 2009 Day 5

I need to stop freaking weighing myself. It keeps going up. I did not drink my gallon of water that I usually drink. I had 64oz.

First day back on the road. I am wondering how I am going to do this. I have to go sample a new style ham out today. It is called a mangalista ham. It is one of the best hams in the world. And I have no idea how I am not going to want to try it.

Well have my gum packed and my pickles. Ready set go.....

Katie, that ham will be there for you to have when you hit goal. Is that at all a helpful thought? As for having to try it, does that mean you have one bite to taste the flavor or are you expected to have a complete serving? I'm just wondering if one small taste is okay---if that is the case and you drink some water along with a supplement as soon as is possible after the one taste, if that would upset your ketosis? I'm guessing it would not so long as you weren't having to have more than a bite of one or two things.

I hope you'll be able to figure out a way to handle these times without having it mess with your mind, upset your resolve and get you off program. Considering your line of work, one bite of an off program food---done on the job, would not seem to cause a problem with your weight loss.....but what do I know?

I wish you the best today.

Why am I doing this. I know the reason should because of my health. But it is not. I am doing this because I am jealous of my husband. Isn't that absurd. My husband lost 45# and looks great, and he is getting all of these compliments. And there I am the fat wife. UGGGGG. Can you believe that. I am doing this because I want those compliments.

I missed you Leigh. I am so glad Your back.

January 6 Day 6th

Well I did awesome yesterday. Did not even try it. Yay me. So went to the doctor today I am getting sick. Have a sore throat and a fever blister.

Otherwise still no cheats. And I have not weighed in, I am waiting for Sunday. I also get very disappointed if I dont see anything.

I was so mad with the biggest loser last night. How can they do that to someones dreams. Bring them there only to send 2 couples back and hour later. I really did not like anyone especially last night. Well i liked the cousins a little bit. Too me it seems bob is getting to be a bad a$$. LOL

My son loves the biggest loser.

Well on to drink a shake.

I .

I hate being the fat wife too. Especially since I was thin when we got married, got thin again on Medifast then got FAT again. I felt so embarrassed going to my husband's Xmas party. He is 145 lbs and runs marathons! Enough about me. I knew you could do it!!! I am proud of you!!! :cleader:

I sort of liked the twins too, but they aren't Felipe and Sione. I am rooting for the orange team because they aren't far from my original Oklahoma hometown. I also liked it when the mom lost it and started punching the bag with severe determination! I felt like that last night. I understand how feel about being the "fat" wife. When I met my husband I was around 180 or so (wearing a 14) and I ballooned up over the last six years to 230 (wearing a 20-tight). That was it, so I had to do something. We both were so moved by "The Biggest Loser" that we started eating right and exercising. He, however, wouldn't be consistent with his diet and didn't lose right away. Well, now he has and he looks really good and I am insanely jealous. Even though I have lost 70 pounds I still feel fat, and I can't slow down the aging process. It is so hard to deal with, really it is and I totally sympathize with you and Biki. I wish I could make you feel better! :)

January 7th Day 7

In a pissy mood today. My husband and I are fighting. I have been 100% compliant YAHOO. I am in the zone, The reason I know this is because I am craving water, it is like I can not get enough. I have been doing the 6-0 My life is just to busy to worry about my food intake. Also I am in ketosis. Hopefully this fat will just melt off.

Snow is on our way. I would love for my son to have a delayed opening. Well anyways talk to you later.

Guess my pissy mood was contagious. Sorry, Katie! Yeah for compliance! I am home today because of the weather-which means that when it gets cold in Texas no one knows what to do! Sorry to hear about the fight, but you guys will make it through it. I think when you change your lifestyle (either together or at separate times) it is such an adjustment for both of you. He probably senses your longing for the compliments and maybe he feels like you aren't being supportive enough (remember he is a man and needs lost of support!) and since you have had success on Medifast in the past he may not understand why you weren't having such a easy time getting back on the wagon. Men just don't get it sometimes. I am an emotional eater and when my emotions are out of kilter that is what I do to make myself feel better. I have never known a guy to reach for the ice cream when he is upset, so they just don't get it. Once again, I think you will survive and hopefully you guys will continue a healthy lifestyle together! :cleader:
